MoD mistakenly sends man top secret files

www.telegraph.co.uk

The 12 boxes of files, marked "MoD: Bristol", were sent in error to Mark Chambers' firm, Metal Ornaments in Swadlincote, Derbys.

However, when he called to ask what he should do with them, he said he was first told no-one knew, before an operator suggested he put his question into the Q&A section of their website.

Looks like another security leak only this time MOD sent top secret files out by mail. The documents themselves there arnt copies of here on this link but MOD sent them to the wrong address. Makes you wonder if they cant get even there mail system right what else did they screw up and arnt telling us about?

I'd have to say that's a pretty big hiccup. It does make one wonder what else could they mess up.

I suppose it makes a change from losing a laptop? says just about everything about data security since this lousy government has been in power though, and now they want us to hand over even more data in the form of ID cards

Yeah, you could get in a world of trouble but I have to admit I'd probably do the same thing, depending on what the documents said. I wouldn't call and tell them I had them though. But I'm sure whenever they didn't arrive at the right address someone would go searching and eventually discover that I had them, so I'd send the original files back to them. If the documents contained anything worth a conspiracy theorist time I don't know what I'd do with them, even if I released them anonymously they could be easily traced back to me.

And after about 1-2 days you would mysteriously disappear only to reappear in Zimbabwe without your memories of how you got there and who you actually are .
And your family would think you had a fatal accident in which you sadly burned to ash so there is no way to identify you but lucky there was a tooth lying in the car by which you have been identified . Oh did I mention that nasty pain in your mouth when you woke up
?
