There are many members here, and many forums, and most of us do not stick to just reading and posting in one forum topic but read and post in many.
Iam curious because even though I know many members here..I truly do not know what the biggest fear for most members is.
Out of all the topics we discuss here on ATS, which one do you fear the most..that affects your life or your future?
Is it a paranormal experience with different dimensions and opening portals?
Is it aliens be they grey, nordic or reptilian..landing on earth ?
Is it the government or an elite society of individuals running the world and tracking our every move?
Is it the end times and the 2012 theory and survival after?
What are you really passionate about finding out the knowledge of, to try to cope with, or lessen your fear?
Does coming to ATS help you, by sharing and chatting with others? Or does it create more anxiety?
My biggest fear, by far..is the end times, and I frequent the survival forum a lot.
Iam somewhat prepared for an event, but I do have anxiety over it..because I have young children.Coming here has made me better prepared by far.
So, my question stands...what conspiracy do you fear the most?

My biggest fear is that all conspiracy theory is a lie. They feed information to us to make us go the opposite direction and keep us distracted. Like the whole "we didn't go to the moon" conspiracy. Maybe we did, and maybe we have a base on it already. Or, the JFK was killed by the CIA conspiracy theory, when in actuality it was the Chinese and the CIA didn't really want us to know as it would wreck the economy so they made themselves pivotal in the whole conspiracy.

I always wonder the conspiracy behind the conspiracy.

Very good question, one I am going to have to think over and get back to you on. S&F tho, Bravo!!

Hi,

My biggest fear is human nature. I find is frightening just to read the titles of some threads - so much energy and spirit wasted in conjecture, self doubt and negativism.

Peace!

Great question! I would have to say NWO, marshal law..anything along that line. I'm a single mother and I couldn't imagine a group or groups of people taking away the freedom of myself or my son! The thought of it infuriates me!

oh wow! that's thought provoking!
Ever wonder if we really are the crazy ones?
Perhaps the books, tv shows, and movies all based on conspiracy theories are just our own minds being used to fuel the mainstream media.

That is a good question. My answer is human nature. I'm afraid that I will wake up one day with the knowledge that humanity is more horrid that we could ever imagine, that a select few have enough power to rip the entire population apart.

I think the conspiracy is that ATS is made up of a few people that pat themselves on the back and dole out Bronze, Solid, Gold, frigging Adamantium titles to themselves.

that and for the most part you are all white magicians/x-tians/positive karmics

So your fear is what???
That you will get negative points for spamming the board with your complaints by offering up an off topic post, thus never achieving a status on your avatar so dished out by those with good karma and retractable adamantium claws?
um..Intrepid????
Sheesh..didn't know platinum and adamantium were interchangable...duly noted.
moving on...

Hey AD,

Great question...

And I know you've broadened your thread title quite a bit in your post, but what drew me here was the answr that came to mind when I read your title.

So, I will answer your thread title...

Q, As a Conspiracy Theorist, What is your biggest fear?

A, Being wrong!!

As you say, and I am rightly guilty of too, a lot here tend to read and post in many different forums for many different reasons.

There is just so much to think of and work out and try to understand..

It's like this swine flu stuff.. I wonder how many ATS'ers went around and told everyone they could that the flu was coming and was gonna kill us all, ran to the hills and are still sat there like prize plums dropped from the winning basket?

Oh so correct...
I never thought of that at all.
There are worse things though..I fear being right when it comes to conspiracy theories.

My biggest fear is that humanity as a whole will never "wake up" enough to realize that we create our own destiny. That we will remain on the path to destruction for no apparent reason. We go on blindly believing everything we are taught in school, and then subsequently by life experience. I fear that in general, the human race will never open it's collective mind enough to discover that reality and illusion are one in the same, but instead remain trapped in the prison of assumption and dogma.

Most people have a firm belief that "this is not all that we are", but instead of searching for the answers to the questions that this belief gives birth to, we wait around for the answers to simply reveal themselves. In the mean time, we occupy ourselves with war and destruction. I fear that humanity's preoccupation with misery will repeat itself, over and over again for eternity, causing pain and anguish all for nothing. Those that are in societal positions to change the human paradigm, shun the concept to protect wealth and power over the rest of us, ignoring the fact that in the whole scheme of things, their wealth is worthless and their power meaningless.

Ok, good question.. I dont fear death, but i do fear leaving my family behind if i did die. If something catastrophic happend and everyone was going together anyway, i would have no fear, cause i know in my heart that death is just another begining, sometimes i look forward to death just so i can know the ultimate truth..

peace.

Oh almost forgot, i fear the sheepish stupidity in most of humanity, and where it might lead us all..

And my biggest fear is that all conspiracy theory is true! It all sucks! But the biggest fear is that our souls are trapped here, caught into endless recycling (not reincarnating which infers 'choice'). That there really is the technology to separate our essence/soul whatever you call it and keep it brainwashed, hypnotized, conditioned to forget its real history and origins and find a way to get out....
That would mean this crap doesn't just end when we die - but that it continues even unto death, beyond and back again -

I must admit that I am somewhat afraid of the Apocalypse/Armageddon/breakdown of social fabric.

Chaos

I'm quite comfortable and would like things to remain status quo
but should the shtf, I am prepared.

But I hope that there is some global conscience raising event that
ushers in peace and Love for all mankind....and animals.

Yeah, but....

If you're right, then your fears are real and nobody can accuse you of being paranoid

My biggest conspiracy fear is that the very few, at the end will control us all, and that we will have a microchipped society, everything will be taxed to death...and human race have to look in history books to understand the word freedom...

Do i fear the "lords" of NWO: No! But do i fear what the human race may become under a rule from NWO: Yes!

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." - FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT

Best policy: NO FEAR. Attack problems head on. Attack attackers head on. Die with honor. Attack death head on. Fear only serves to debilitate you.

My biggest fear is that most of the conspiracy theories will come to naught. No apocalypse, no end of the world in 2012, no major climate changes, no little green men from outer space landing. I fear that the world is sleepwalking into a tolitarian state worse than anything George Orwell could have ever dreamed up. That people will be micro chirped and owned body and soul. There progress and behaviour monitored from the instant they are conceived until they die. That new breakthroughs in technology have a way of monitoring a persons dreams and thoughts as well as what they see and say throughout their entire life. That people who do not conform to the way society expects will find themselves made too and that the little independence we believe we have will only be an illusion.

Welcome to my nightmare.

My biggest fear, that I've been wrong all this time, everything is as it is and I've wasted years of my life researching and reading into conspiracies that are in my head!

Hm, or that it's all true, maybe that's worse!

S+F for the sleepless night you've no doubt just given me!
