Well...we are moving further and further into a socialist state. Here are the drones, that will soon be coming to a town near you.

Personal Social responsibility for your community is just that...PERSONAL responsibility and something the STATE should not be dictating.

This whole youth core, mandatory service thing could go 1 of 2 ways... It could either be used in a goodhearted attempt to better the United States, or even the world. Or it could be used in a dark manner to do God knows what... Assuming it is to be used for good, there is still an enormous potential for abuse of power. This makes me nervous.

its not like this is a new radical idea.

If your THAT worried about it. make sure you continue to sit behind your computer complaining trying to rely on the fact that someone else will do it.

City year is only funded 26 percent by the federal gov't through americorps which was created by Bill Clinton, not obama. Not my kind of organization or commercial, but god forbid kids want a social community organization...

It may not be radical, but what is so good about FORCING anyone to abide by what the STATE decrees you should do. We already have a term for that, it's called SLAVERY.

How about I take you're approach to life, and sit by the computer and not complain about it? I suppose that is the more productive approach?
