specially the youngsters.

Totally agree...connect them to a digital world which disconnects them from the real world. Their focus competes with the parents focus.

With the media thing and spoon feeding our kids, you have to be right there to turn that stuff back around. When my children went off on a tangent they had heard on the news or else where (school - most of the time)...
I was there to give them *new insight*

The only legal way to listen to archived shows is to be a member at the C2C site...which is like $7 a month I believe.

I can listen to GN for about 15min. then zzzzz. a sample script

REALLY? Well, that calls for about two cups of espresso coffee at midnight for me so i can hear it or most of it.

I listened to it. I honestly was a little bit irritated by the guest. Obviously, times have changed. There have been idiots in every generation and that still holds true today. The guest railed on kids for not watching the news... Now not all kids are simply tweeting and watching American Idol. Some have actually realized that the news is hardly news anymore. Some realize that there is little to no value in the corporate driven media.

He didn't touch on that at all. It was simply that they are idiots for not paying attention to what fox or cnn tells them is important. While it is true that kids today may be out of touch with what he viewed as important when he was growing up, it is also true that some kids have a much broader view of the world than he ever did at their age. The internet isn't all evil. The sheer volume of info that everyone has access to now is kind of mind boggling when you really think about it.

I'm not much of an Art fan....I prefer George to be quite honest.

Well, that figures KL. I'm not paying a monthly fee! :shk: I'll just have to reserve myself to the fact that I like my sleep more that I like C2C. Oh well...maybe when I'm on vacation I'll catch some C2C
