No more stars in BTS?

Just noticed you can no longer star a post in BTS.

Is this a permanent change or a temporary glitch?

I have no information about your post~ but I sure like your avatar!!
Did you design it yourself? Just curious.

I'd like to know too...did I/we miss something?

I asked about this in the 'New coloured tags' thread a little while ago, but nobody answered me.

i think the new implements take away from the site.
it was "deeper" before.

It would seem that, by removing stars from BTS (assuming it was purposeful), they are removing BTS from consideration from their new ranking system...

I wonder if it'll be replaced somehow. I understand wanting to separate out rewards for the two boards, but I'll miss being able to star a post I agree with or particularly like but don't really have anything worth responding to.

Well taking stars out of BTS seems ok on a basic level but I feel for the writers or comedians that contribute to brighten up our day.

I guess there may be another way in mind to reward their efforts.

I know when I post something witty and get a few stars, it makes me feel good
and the good laugh I get from other here deserves much more than that a star.

It's not a glitch.

After reading kinglizards reply I can only guess that someone, somewhere is sneekily working on a crafty master plan as we mull over this sudden change..

Whatever it may be, rest assured that those who are high up in the ATS towers know that their cunning plans will bring many an ooohhh and aaaahhh to the threads of the boards


But then again, i could be completely wrong and there just wont be any stars on BTS

Stars have been removed from BTS.

This decision is tied to the new concepts that have been introduced recently. So please contribute your thoughts on this to the existing thread.
