I find the cross hatching interesting. Do those lines represent ancient forms of tattooing? Was it a common practice back then, as now, to decorate the body with designs etched into the skin?
It seems that little has changed in 30,000 years, at least in that regard.

I read somewhere that those who study art from that time period ... 20,000 BC - 60,000 BC say it's all sexual in nature and that most of the cave drawings aren't of stick figure cavemen chasing sabertoothed tigers ... but they look more like teenage boys in deep heats of lust scawling dirty pictures all over the place.

Not much has changed with 'evolution'

The carved statues are representative of the fertility and abundance of the Earth whose worship is represented by the Mother Goddess, nurturer, giver of life and bringer of death. She was the self-evident provider of life. Her carved shape and form represented the abundance of life-giving power, fertility of the land and the unknown face of The Mother.

Her faceless figure represented the idea that her power could not be fathomed.

Before God was converted to a male entity by warrior tribes, She was The Mother of All.

Proof that our intelligence has never changed since our evolution to Homo Sapien... only our "Under Standing" of the World around us.
