The carved statues are representative of the fertility and abundance of the Earth whose worship is represented by the Mother Goddess, nurturer, giver
of life and bringer of death. She was the self-evident provider of life. Her carved shape and form represented the abundance of life-giving power,
fertility of the land and the unknown face of The Mother.
Her faceless figure represented the idea that her power could not be fathomed.
Before God was converted to a male entity by warrior tribes, She was The Mother of All.
