You Tube Free Speech Purge Accelerates, Infowarrior Channel Banned

You Tube accelerated its aggressive purge against free speech today after the video networking website suspended the Infowarrior Channel, which was the replacement for the previously censored Alex Jones Channel.

When attempting to visit the Infowarrior Channel this morning, one is met with the message, “This account is suspended.”

Interesting. I don't know how long AJ has been off Youtube this time, but right now there are only four news reports according to Google, three of them AJ's sites. The other was the London Daily News, I think it was. Maybe the rest haven't picked it up yet, maybe they won't at all.

I don't watch AJ's shows, just the clips here at ATS, but from all I can gather this is seriously wrong. Which isn't much, right now. I can only put so much faith in what his site says. At this point in my life(and after having spent a couple years on ATS), I feel like the commercial for Howard(Stern) news - "If your mother says I Love You, check your sources".

In a related development, Google Video has now suspended all new content from being uploaded and is re-directing users to You Tube, where full videos longer than 10 minutes cannot be uploaded without a special “director” account.

If true, then this might shape up to be one helluva battle. Youtube supposedly is getting flooded with AJ videos. I wonder how this shake down. Could get really ugly.

Well it seems like Youtube has jumped the shark.
It eventually happens when innovative, cutting edge sites go mainstream and become part of the establishment. They then have to abide the rules.
Sad but true.

I think it's really important that conspiracy theorists find an alternative source that hasn't been bought out.

I guess also, this gives Alex a lot of extra credibility too.
If he wasn't barking at the gate, they wouldn't worry about him.

agree it does suck big time. I dont always agree with everything AJ says and does, but i DO agree in his motivation for doing what he is doing. All of these people that are trying to point out problems in our soceity may not always get everything right, but we should always look at the reasoning for their actions. AJ in my opinion is a great guy and gets my support.

This also plays into the hands of AJ that YT is censoring him, makes out that his uploads and information is annoying some poeple at the top.......time the truth came out!

I wouldn't be surprised if AJ is trying to piggyback from the success of Dprjones + Thunderf00t's recent suspensions and filed a complaint against himself.

when what they really mean is they expect someone else to allow them to freeload

AJ attacks not only "them" but points his fingers at specific names and groups, some of what he says are quite serious allegations. If i was a rich dude in some exclusive club that suddenly was attacked by a huge man with a roaring bullhorn spamming videos on youtube with my name in it, i would take action. Just a though.

im with the rest of you guys on this, You Tube, nor any other corporation or govt entity should be able to pick and choose which information they think is suitable for people to see. It is not their place to be able to come in and say "ah we dont like this guy take him off". They have no right whatsoever to dosomething like that. As above posters have stated, all this is doing is ruining their cause, and helping his. Hes got my support.

I can list at least 5 more channels that were involved in topics that Alex Jones himself discussed. All of them my friends. The most common target are truther channels and people that are researching conspiracy theories.

who cares if he has other outlets? the point is that he is being blantenly censored and has had his first ammendment violated. what happens when every site starts to censore certain people and points of views? this is how america has been decayed from the inside out. first they take a little, then a little more, then a lot more, then everything. bad stuff hapens in small steps so people like you say, oh dont worry "theres other outlets and similar sites". NO!!!! we cant let incremental violations turn into total violation (which it will).

censorship no matter how small (or whom is being censored) is a big step towards total censorship..look at china and the U.K

It's not just the well known people having their account suspended or deleted but us unknowns as well. I had posted CIT, AE911truth, and Pilotsfor911truth info on both youtube and myspace. Youtube has my e-mail on a "greylist" and will not let me register with my original name while myspace deleted my account and will not allow me to reregister with the same user name.

Well lets face it folks you have an inalienable right to free speach that the only one who can take away is you!

Yet as I pour through the constitution for the one thousandth time (this week), I see nothing that gaurantees us free broadcasting!

That's the problem Youtube is a free site that allows people free broadcasting.

If Alex Jones was being arrested for what he is saying, that would be another thing entirely.

I am a strong advocate of free speach, I don't care if it's something false you are saying, racially or sexually bigoted, hateful or hurts my or someone elses freelings when you say it.

Just like the war on terror is about terrorizing us, the war of political correctness of eliminating so called victimization is in part about people who chose to see and portray themselves as victims attempting to victimize others because they can sell that perception. The reality is if you chose to allow someone to victimize you, well that's on you. Making me pay for that trying to victimize me to compensate you for having been victimized...that's on you too! A lot of it also is of course on Youtube. All I have to say is checks in the mail, lets do lunch after you get it.

The political idealology of Victimization is all about "Entitlement" we should be entitled to this and that and someone didn't give it to us or took it away.

Your inalienable rights aren't like catsup at McDonalds where all you have to do is ask for a pack with your order of French Fries.

Your inalieanable rights always are something you personally have to take responsibility and fight for. Those who will not engage in that constant daily fight to exercise their inablienable rights create this culture of victimization where you don't even have to buy the french fries to get the catsup. They want it just given to them, they don't want to pay or be responsible for them, they want the rewards handed to them.

We have a right to free speach in so much and only so much as we will exercise our inalienable right to both speak and be responsible for it.

We truly don't though have a right to free broadcasting. It's great when yo can find it and get it, but without a contract and without paying for it, you pretty much get what you pay for, and that's nothing they don't want to give you!

Everyone does have a right to write Youtube and tell them what you think about them selectively deciding who can broadcast and broadcast what.

Everyone has a right to also just boycott Youtube along with those letters.

Everyone has a right to also go out and buy their own server(s) make their own sites, contract and pay for the usage of other(s) or find other free services.

Worry when they they start throwing the Alex Jones of the world and country in jail. Worry when we can't we have our own server(s) make our own sites or contract and pay for the privelage not the right to broadcast.

In the mean time I urge anyone and everyone who takes exception to what Youtube has done to write them and tell them you are boycotting them.

When their page hits and traffic go down so will their revenue. That's your inalienable right but you are the one who has to exercize it and take responsibility for how you exercize it. Don't talk the talk unless you are going to walk the walk, because that is how the cult of "Victimization" was born.

The other dangerous thing about YouTube is the way comments can be censored. After 6 or 7 "thumbs down" ratings, the comment is essentially erased. I noticed good insightful comments of the Anti-NWO type were being downed in this way for no apparent reason...with the exception that corporate goons are running around trying to control the information flow as usual.

I agree they should not ban AJ, no one should be silenced. I also believe him to be part of project Mocking Bird. His goal is to create FEAR. Watch this video of an interview he did with Peter Joseph creater of ZEITGEIST. This will change most peoples mind on what AJ is realy about. If he did not serve a purpose for the government he would not be on national radio. He would not get major corporate advertisers like he does. His goal is to help create hate and fear in my opinion.

Guys I am a little perplexed by everyone responses and indignation.

Don't get me wrong, I think it sucks that youtube sensors it's own site but so do most on the internet, including infowars. You can't find cows on skateboards there you know.

Since when did youtube become a public service outlet?

It is a private company controlling it's content that's all. ATS does the same for its own reasons.

Sure it's very convenient, but we are not entitled to anything we want, and it isn't internet censorship. Internet censorship would be if the Alex Jones sites were taken down, all this does is decentralize information not withdraw it, and all it means is one has to use a search engine to find information instead of simply going to youtube.

Why do you think Anonymous isn't going after this? Because there is a difference between a private company managing its product and a third party being able to control its product like scientology did.

In any case as indignant you may be, please don't also be surprised.

Last time I checked, You Tube was a private company and can shut down anything that they please.

There are no 1st Amendment rights on a privately owned internet site.

If Alex does not like it then he can start his own You Tube.

For every one they close down, ten more will pop up, and not just at YT but all over the net. These people aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
