Jimminy!!!

Something very fast and bright has just shot past the window in a west to east direction N.E UK..

Anyone else local see it?

I thought it was a low flying/landing aircraft as it seemed to be two lights.
But reaching the window only one remained.
No noise accompanied.

High altitude meteorite fragmenting?

Will wait for the local news later.

Was watching South Park 'Pink eye' episode too.
Quite an adrenaline buzz yesss!

Around 20 miles North of Newcastle,if it was as I think high altitude,it MUST have been seen for miles.

First thought was honestly'
"HECKY THUMP THAT WAS LOW!!!'

It gave the perspective appearance or a jumbo jet clearing the house by around 150ft with the speed/luminosity of the lights.

Just a guess but some part of NASA's launch tonight?

On the rare occasion I'm watching TV,I leave the blinds open.
It just feels better seeing across the woods/river..

And nosy for watching police helicopters chasing twoccers

What time was it as the ISS was extremely bright tonight, round about the 11pm mark give or take 10 mins.

Yeah I've seen the ISS .
This was a lot larger,brighter and faster across the sky.
'Sky lightingly' brighter.

If it was the same one as on the accompanying meteorite thread, then the orbit would be wrong.

Blackpool to Newcastle give a NE trajectory.... ish..

The ISS traveled in a west to east slightly north trajectory, but I doubt it was that is what you saw lit the sky.
