I am very disquieted that the flu outbreak is being swept under the rug here in Arkansas. I am seeking any information anyone may have on rumored outbreaks and such. If it shown that they are actively covering up the severity of the outbreak I will file suit against the Arkansas Department of Human services regarding their handling of the Swine Flu, and to try and force disclosure. If we find any that have perished in the state it will be a wrongful death suit.

We must help protect those who are vulnerable. The states handling of this outbreak may well be murderous. If you can help by providing any information please do so.

At present these unavoidable facts are present.
1. Arkansas Schools have be ordered not to close unless a confirmed case is found in the school. No closures for probable cases.
2. Personal knowledge of a three year old in Springdale hospital. Who is quarantined but has been refused testing because she has not been to Mexico.
3. Youngster with confirmed case in Lawrence county is already back in school and it has not been two weeks. Efforts are currently underway to determine the impact on this community. Personal ads etc.
4. The day before they announced 5 confirmed cases they denied that there were any probable cases at all.

We also need clarity on several rumored outbreaks in Benton and surrounding counties.

If you are from Arkansas I would really like to hear any information you may have. I am also considering running a state wide ad for information.

To date, no news. Kids attend
Central HS, Pulaski Academy and haven't heard of any unusual illness.

Seems Washington State has been in denial as well- cases were reported there only within the last few days, and a man there tonight, from the flu:

www.reuters.com...

I'm interested in any other states in a similar position- info about states withholding data. I'll collect what I can as well, and share as i find it.

Be well, everyone.

Peace

Im in TX and I can confirm they are refusing testing here as well. Also Ive heard of two cases of people being sent home with antibiotics without testing. I dunno if thats a placebo or what. I guess some Dr's here realize how pointless it is to do the tests. Whats it going to do? Add +1 to the list? At first I was mad about it now I realize the numbers mean nothing most Dr's arent testing. This flu is everywhere and it also has h3n2 on its heels. The fall will be interesting for sure.

I posted this on another thread as well, but wanted to post it here- I hope it's relevant. Three Japanese people have returned home after having been in Canada, and tested positive.

news.xinhuanet.com...

Shouldn't this indicate that the presumed "epicenter", i.e., Mexico, is either a) not the original site of the outbreak; and/or
B) the WHO should go to Level 6, as the infections came from someone who passed it in a "community" setting- a school trip?

I believe the same thing is happening in every state in the US- only for some reason we aren't disclosing full numbers at the State or Federal levels. Anyone on the forum- from any state- please let post if you have cases that are unreported. I think this is burning faster than we think (as a world- not those of us who post here, for the most part)- and the MSM is reporting it's on the DECLINE? What the heck is happening here?

Sorry to sound obsesive, I just crave some bloody TRUTH from the medical community. I don't expect it from the news or the gov. But I DO expect it from clinicians!

Thanks all,

Peace

Hunny going to let you in on a little secret we have figured out on the other thread. They have started fudging the numbers for some time now to prevent an all out panic.
I am in Northern California and yesterday at about 630-7 pm my husband had to take me to the ER because I couldn't breath. I got into it with the check in nurse because she wouldn't get off asking me about H1N1 symptoms and my breathing was going down fast so I let her have it. And told her that I didn't have the damn piggy flu like all those people in the waiting room I just couldn't breath right. She asked me to quiet down and said that they weren't supposed to talk about it.
Guess what they were packed in there with sick children and middle aged people so bad they had a two room over flow area.(like 56 beds and the waiting room was packed) Needless to say I got a huge dose of steroids and took the other meds home to use in my own machine! I disrobed in the garage and had my son take Lysol to my shoes and purse that are still out there with my clothes having been washed in the hotest setting on my heater then dried for two hours. I may just throw them away to be honest. I have never seen anything like what I saw tonight and it really hit home as to why they are trying to keep people from panicking.
It isn't really that they are intentionally doing it to "hurt" people, there has already been a panic here and it hasn't been pretty. YES we DO deserve the truth! , but how many others do we know who would absolutely freak out if they heard it? Give that one a little thought.
P.S. If as some have claimed the quiet down has come from the Fed level you aren't going to get past the filing desk with it. Continuity of government and pandemic support are in effect right now worldwide .

Stacie- thanks for your post. I don't expect the truth- mass hysteria is not what any government wants- until they can use it to their own ends- and that's obviously not yet.. I guess, after having spent half my life in labs seeking truth, and reporting truth, I blew up with frustration about the lack of it in this outbreak.

I'm sorry you dealt with that at the ER- your decon actions were wise. Installing a UV light at your doorway wil help, as well, as it kills most microbes except sporiforms. In every infectious lab I've worked, there were UV lights outside of every doorway. The paranoia got to me after many years, which is one of the reasons I put it down- but not the need for inquiry or truth-seeking.

Thank you for sharing your experience. As horrible as the truth is, I'd rather know it than not (and I can share it with friends in N Cali, to help protect them)- I refuse to be some lemming who would rather remain ignorant.

And thank you to everyone here- I can't tell you what a relief it is to share information with civilized, informed people- even some of our closest friends think we're crazy- some didn't even KNOW about it until we told them. It's staggering.....

I hope you feel better- take good care.

I hear you and I fully empathize.

Here in Delaware schools have been ordered NOT TO CLOSE if anyone has Swine Flu ... and just as bad .... we have confirmed cases of Swine Flu in kids but the state has ordered that the names of the schools those kids attend NOT TO BE RELEASED.

I'm really ticked off. Not a damn thing I can do about it either.

I was digging around and this was some of the first I found posted on it there...

AP: Arkansas confirms first 5 cases of swine flu; State says illness found at army base. from BNO Headquarters

4 confirmed cases of swine flu at Ark. army base
Fri, May. 8, 2009
www.philly.com...

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Arkansas' first confirmed swine flu cases came from out-of-state airmen training at a military base in central Arkansas, officials said Friday. A school child in northeast Arkansas has also tested positive for the disease.

Officials said 11 airmen training at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock suffered flu-like symptoms. Four tested positive for the virus, four tested negative and three test results are pending.

The four confirmed cases involve two airmen from New Jersey and two from Nevada. Officials described their symptoms as mild, and said all 11 sick airmen have been isolated.

Friday's announcement was the first confirmation in Arkansas of the disease.

I currently live in the Oregon county of MO in the mamoth springs area. If I get news I will post it. If anyone has news for this area please report it. I have also been advertising for the use of my Rife machine at the local Flash market... If need be you can find my flyer there or at lane salvage.

Do date I know of no one that has been sick... Then again I have been staying in on my property and not going out unless I HAVE TOO!

Hmmm...

Local Residents React to H1N1 Flu Cases in Arkansas
9:00 PM CDT, May 8, 2009
www.kfsm.com...

With the closest confirmed case of the H1N1 Flu coming out of Central Arkansas, just how concerned are people in Northwest Arkansas?

Most people 5NEWS talked to said they weren't even aware that the virus surfaced in Arkansas. "I'm not sure how worried I am. Was it discovered in Arkansas before? This is the first time? Yeah I'm worried," says Michael Heffernan on learning about the confirmed cases.

Flyers-

We've had more confirmed cases in Illinois, mainly in elementary schools, but they have been advised to remain open. I don't know what to make of it, but were I a parent, I would not allow my kids into a living petri dish that is elementary school. I was shocked when the local news affiliate (ABC7 News) reported it yesterday- in the same breath (and story) of rapidly rising flu numbers here- of which about 2/3 are in the suburbs where the schools are-- who have confirmed cases.

What the he** is going on? Do they WANT kids to be exposed, knowing what's coming in the autumn????

HX- and yet, Nevada claims there are no confirmed cases. If I were there, and betting, I would expect Nellis to (finally)? admit cases on base- or Vegas to confirm cases- was there a better incubator invented than casinos?
