I'd like to start off by saying that it's been quite some time since I've visited ATS and I hope I'm following the new guidelines.
Yesterday I was surfing on Google Sky and found a caption saying a tiny galaxy was forming. This caught my interest so I went in for a closer look.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a tiny, thin thread like object.I zoomed in thinking it might be a flaw in the imaging.I'm not an expert but it
looks real to me.
I brought this to ATS to see if someone can confirm if it's real or offer an explanation as to why it isn't.
I've never seen anything like it and given the quality of Google Sky images at close proximity,I'm not sure what it is. It has an odd shape so I
don't know if it's a collection of other matter or one object.
The coordinates are in the photo if others want to search through other means.
I did look around on ATS and didn't see this posted anywhere.
Edit: It's the long object approximately almost centered in the photo.
