Conspiracy or stupidity?

My brother, who got the looks while I got the brains, recent spouted an incredible bit of nonsense, "It's Obama's recession!" After eight years without a president Obama has inherited a mess and is working to get it under control.

So, is the "Obama recession" a plot by the right-wingers to blame the President for their own mess or not?

No I think it was a long standing plan; whether it be the bilderbergers, or the illuminati or whatever global elite is pulling the strings, to set up the world for this man to come and rescue us.

Pretty much the opposite of what you believe, haha but its all subjective eh?

Honestly, this recession belongs to neither Bush nor Obama. This has been a long time coming. However, to answer the question of your thread title, I would assume that it would be a bit of both.

The economy is a roller coaster. Here is a list of Recessions and other Economic Crises for the U.S. with names, start date, duration and length of gap between each.
