The current H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic headlines read like those flashing through the intro sequence of a post-apocalyptical movie. Now you can see the cases spreading in real time—as the WHO declares them—in Google Maps.

Hmm....if it's the same strand then it's spreading kind of fast. It's already present on all continents.

Seems there's quite a few maps around but now the RSEO Emergency and Disaster Information site also has an interactive map dedicated to following this flu.

Be care when reading those maps, though! I have noticed some repeat cases on that one.

Just a thought tonight reading over these maps. Maybe somebody decided mexico needed to start thinking more about mexico and let this flu go free. This might halt the drug violence and escalation of border activity for a while. If they are busy trying to saves lives then they can't be too busy taking them. Oo
