US calls for freeze on government aid to UAE and international anger grows as the half-brother of Manchester City's owner is seen on video shooting at, setting fire to and running over a helpless Afghan he had accused of cheating him in a business deal

US congressman James McGovern has already called for a freeze on government aid to the UAE. He also wants Issa to be refused US visas. In a letter to the US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, he said: "I cannot describe the horror and revulsion I felt when witnessing what is on this video ... I could not watch it without constantly flinch

This story first appeared on April 22, but did not garner much attention. But new details are coming to light, such as the reaction of the international community. Is this what happens when the United States government condones, and even uses, torture, as had been the case under the Bush administration? There can be no doubt that President Obama made the right decision in banning the use of torture by US operatives. This type of behavior cannot be condoned, on any level.

Just as an FYI, here's a picture of the half-brother of the accused that's in the article linked above.

EDITED: Correction is in bold. Thanks to Naturally Smooth for pointing out my error.

Here's a picture of the accused, Sheikh Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, from another website.

Actually, if I'm reading the caption in the article correctly, the picture is of the half-brother of the accused. The caption reads:

The accused is Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, half-brother of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan pictured above. Photograph: Rabih Moghrabi/AFP/Getty Images

Just imagine what they do when they are stateside.
They buy and sell Women and Children and their money gets them out of trouble.

Most powerful families frequently engage in this sort of thing and this video is just a a small fraction of a sliver of whats out there.

Its not an Arab thing, its a status thing.

You see, power has made them sick.

That is why the TPTB want to disarm America, so that our only response to this type of thing is to cry and beg for mercy like the man on this tape.

No thanks President Obama I will keep my guns.

If you realy want to see what kind of crooked, entitled, jack asses they realy are, heres something to try. If your ever in and around the UN or in DC, go to any local restaurant around their embassies or apartments and the local stores in the area look at the cash registers for notes on who's been scamming them with bad checks and phoney credit cards. Their's millions of dollars owed to these people and they never pay. They get served and just walk out. Diplomatic immunity doesn't allow them to be detained or bothered by local laws. The Saudis are the worst in this regard.

The US gives aid to the UAE? They have one of the highest GDP per capita in the world ($40 000) and a very high economic growth rate - 7.7% in 2008.
