UM WTF is going on in this town....!!!!!!!

Ok some weird coincidences - my brother just now tells me he got hired to work a day on one of the major ferries here, cleaning/helping. I had NO idea about this for some reason.... It is leaving for the summer season coming up. He's basically going tomorrow to clean inside, and out, and see her off.....
He's with some agency that gives him random work like this.... Apparently the whole ships making noise thing was just everybody having fun because it was 'her' last day in the harbour....he told me this tonight.

The sirens - don't know yet.
The dogs - they started before the sirens and the boats, so I dunno what set them off.
THe birds - I was just picky and overtired lol

Glad to hear it wasn't anything bad, and also nice to hear it was a community celebration kind of thing, too many towns/villages are losing the community feeling

For some dogs to get started, all it takes is a squirrel. One dog starts barking at it, and is joined by the neighboring dogs. Then other dogs hear the barking and they chime in.

When I hear my dogs start barking I immediately check it out. When I see it is a critter, I bring the dogs in or hush them up. I don't like barking dogs, and I am sure my neighbors do not either.

Be careful when you go out tomorrow....the streets may be deserted, no birds chirping, cars abandoned everywhere and just static on the Tv.

Also, and you are very right about the above...but also....lol...it was by far the warmest day we've had since the snow melted. 27 degrees in fact haha....(Celcius) and TONS of people were out with their dogs, plus more put their dogs outside all day. For the first time since before winter started, so of course I wasn't accustomed to it....That must explain why there were a massive number of them freaking at once....lol... I just didn't think of that til now.....

It's just alarming to hear them and then the whole darn town making a ruckus out of nowhere all at once on what had been a calm, sunny Saturday afternoon lol......

Oh my yes, it is indeed time for the tinfoil suits. Do you know anyone that does custom made, up-to-date fashion tinfoil apparel? I don't want to be just any tin covered bozo....I need style...I want to make a statement!!! Like this guy

Roofing insulation is a good start...

The multi-layered type. Foil-foam-foil-webbing-foil-foam-foil type. It's thin (10mm) nice and warm and reasonably cheap. A roll of armoured tape and a pair of scissors and you're sorted!
