'Bomb' found at council building

news.bbc.co.uk

A Doncaster Council office was sealed off after the discovery of an explosive device on the steps of the building.

An Army bomb disposal team was called to Concorde House after the device was found at the back of the building at about 0200 BST.

"South Yorkshire Police said officers cordoned off the area after finding an "improvised explosive device" which was "intended to cause damage".

The force said the device was made safe and staff had been allowed into work."

Not much info released on this, looks to me like a 'warning' from unhappy council tax payers rather than a terrorist plot.

Maybe a spot of anti-government vigilantism?

It doesn't seem too much of a coincidence that Social Services was in this building and with all the bad press they have been receiving recently someone may have seriously overreacted and through a bomb might be a good idea.

Or perhaps a ploy to start focusing on domestic terrorism?

Non-asian bomb makers seem to get a lot less attention that anyone of colour that they can easily label as 'terrorists'. We're quite far behind our US brothers in labelling majority of the population 'domestic terrorists' so maybe this is the start.

Animal rights.

A councillor from that location had her car damaged a few months previously.

I'm sure they'll pull the terrorist card on them and as a result, anyone else that has any dispute with Social Services as they are, but would never touch a bomb if their life depended on it...
How useful. If you are the government wanting to, little by little, find excuses to control and manipulate people.
I'm starting to sense history repeating itself....'TERRORIST!' is the new witchhunt.

Who would do such a thing when there are talking camera's pointing into every orifice on England streets these days

Talking camera on tree outside council building "Hello there!!!....

Yes you with the ski mask over your face....

Can you please not leave that litter on the steps of the council building

If you do not pick up that parcel immediately,
then I will be forced to inform the police and you will be given a fixed penalty charge "

The report seems to be playing the "grudge against childrens services" card a bit heavily? Almost as if they were caught unawares by this, imagine it, frantic calls between security services, asking if it was a sanctioned device?? the terrorist card will be played at some point, when they work out how to slot it in!
