My first UFO pic! Very weird!

They are possibly ufo orbs, the v shape is not a craft though, as others have said the v shape is a result of shaky photography and I've had this myself when not keeping the camera very still. Very interesting at the same time this footage. Off to see the other shots now.

In my opinion as an astronomer, all the subsequent images show a low reddish light at a consistant position and height above the horizon as the backdrop to a series of firework explosions. All the frames are more or less out of focus, of variable zoom factor and exhibit camera shake. The light looks like Venus about to set, hence the atmospheric reddening.

So in a matter of 4 minutes Venus went from that height to out of view? Is that possible? Could we figure out if that was possible?

I noted that the first photo may not have included Venus, since there are at least three close points of light recorded as inverted V shapes due to camera shake. Venus was definitely in the Western sky at that time, so it would seem likely that a series of wide angled camera shots would have captured it. The subsequent photos contain a consistant reddish image which has the characteristics if a setting Venus. There's no way of proving anything of course, Venus or UFO. Statistically, I'd go for Venus.

You are skipping around the question...is it possible Venus could disappear from that height in 4 to 6 minutes? Skeptics do everything possible to disprove it is Alien/unexplainable or whatever...but they hardly go the other way and disprove as many "normal" explanations as possible...

EDIT: I'm sure we could use something to estimate the height of the object...and we should be able to figure out how fast Venus would set from the Canberra perspective at that date...I am willing to help with anything...and obviously...we still have to see if the subsequent photo's actually include imagery of the same air-space in which the object appeared...analyzing some light formations and other things to determine that shouldn't be hard...I'm sure he didn't pan/swivel around to much...

No I'm not skipping around, I'm telling you what I see based on the evidence that Venus was a bright object in the sky at the time these shots were taken. That fact is indisputable. The question is whether any of the photos captured it.

Photo 1 cannot show Venus if the stationary light seen in the subsequent images was indeed the planet. Venus cannot move from the position of the three bright lights shown in photo 1 to the position of the reddish light seen in the others in such a short time. I don't think anything I've said suggests that it did. The most intriguing photo is the first one. The three lights in such close proximity suggest a single object. They could have come from a variety of sources such as an approaching plane or a UFO, I've no idea. The subsequent photos don't look particularly interesting but others may see more in them.

There's definitely some camera motion, like people have said. What it looks like to me is that you filmed an aircraft of some kind coming in for a landing. Landing lights and wing lights.

Yeah...I don't think it's a plane...as I said...I don't know...but I've never seen a plane with 3 white lights like that...there should at least be some sort of colored light...and I just think the lights are just to bright...way to bright...

There are either a bunch of UFOs in that picture, or none at all.

My money is all A BUNCH OF UFOs.

Thanks for posting the photos.
If you are looking west from Queanbeyan, there is a significant chance you could be looking at an aircraft approaching Canberra aiport.
A strong landing light plus that camera movement which is evident might cause that effect.
