I'm looking for a professional practitioner of hypnosis regression to help me discover whether my experiences are just sleep paralysis or not. I want a contact in the United Kingdom who practices the field professionally but is open to the idea of Alien abduction but not leading, most ridicule or do not practice it. Can anyone help, im looking for one in the London area, or anywhere in the south east of England, if you know of someone who has had hypnosis regression, or someone or a group who can help would be really great thanks

I'd probably not look here. Try and find someone who is not knowledgable about aliens and abductions, this will ensure you are not being led. I understand what you're looking for but I think truth will out even under the influence of a non believer. He may not understand the eperiences but his recollection of the situation would give you understanding.

Have you ever come across Prediction magazine?

They have a directory of mediums, hypnotherapist, tarot readers etc on their back pages.

It's been a few years since I read it, but I found some very helpful people through them.

I can't recommend anyone now as it's been so long, but you can phone up anyone you think looks promising and I think you'll find that a hypnotherapist will provide you with a tape of your session.

This is something I've thought of myself and its kind of a daunting task. Trying to find the right person, one who won't skew the results but who is open to the kind of work you're doing at the same time. Since you are in a larger area where they would probably be quite a few more options than a rural one, I would look for any abduction group or ufology group that is meeting and ask the leaders if they had a referral list. I would also phone numbers of local practitioners and conduct a short interview. It may take a while, and you may wish to talk to some clients to get a feel about how professional the person is, just to find someone who is suitable.

Well I know how to hypnotize, but it would probably be easier and much more beneficial if you could actually go and meet you in person. I would honestly contact your local doctors office or psychologist/psychiatrist and ask them if they know of any good hyspnotist in your area. The Psychiatrist would/SHOULD know of one. Just make a few calls and I assure you that you will find one.

I was just thinking about starting a thread of this same topic.

I'm more interested in founding out something of my past lifes, does anyone have any experiences about that?

Is it dangerous, does it affect your dreams afterwards etc.

Are there any risks to consider?

Agh.... Im a professional hypnotherapist, but im in the US. You mean to tell me that in europe they group us with tarot readers and mediums? Come on, not to dis on tarot readers and mediums, but those are intuitive practices, while hypnotherapy is a science. How disappointing.

Contact a neurologist and have a test done to see if you do have any medical problems. You will probably spend the night at a clinic with little patches on you, but they will be able to rule out any sort of medical problem.

Too many hypnotic regression specialists know about alien abductions as they are now part of pop culture. You should look for other physical evidence like unknown scars, UFO sightings in the area, possible landing traces, etc. The best way to build a case is with physical evidence, as hypnotic regressions are known to be fantasy.

Howdy Warriors of Mew, I had the exact same problem recently.

What I did was google regression in the UK, which led me to a directory of past life regressionists in the UK like this one regressionist-directory.

I used the site to search for all the regressionists in my local area and then emailed all the ones that I liked the look of. I decided that if they are open minded enough to believe in past life regression then they should be okay with UFOs and alien abduction. I sent four emails and got two positive replies. I went with my gut and had my regression at the start of September last year.

My regression was kinda odd, but in a good way. I did have a regression during the mid nineties thanks to the late great Ufologist Eric Morris, so I already had some idea of how these things go. If I was to compare the two I would say that I preferred my recent regression. Eric was good, but he did push me every time I came upon something that interested him. My recent regressionist (Jackie) led me at the start and then pretty much let me go where I wanted.

Here is a link to my website, there is a recording of my regression at the bottom of this page with a down-loadable link.

I hope that this helps you.
