Was a hyper-emotional child; couldnt take it. Blocked everything until recently. See stuff, but mostly when too exhausted to block it. Mostly emotionalespecially ones that WANT to scare you. After a while, can differentiate between own fear and something projecting fear AT you. Things communicating thorough dreamspisses me off b/c I usually have A LOT to do in the morning and itd keep waking me up to see itused to scare the # out of me. Now, just get mad and mentally tell it to go away.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

Avoided getting anything. Closest seen was a small dragon whose mid section was a friend of mines head. It was just a flashso disturbed that I started blocking everything again until I could get out of his truck. Another was a troll attached to another friendugly and had tusks. No fear there. Mines a part of methis thing where I have dragon wings. Have to see how I drawbones joints somewhat like a bats wings, growing out from the shoulder blades, no fur, thin membrane that curves in pointy claws at tips and where joints meet for the bend(not at shouldershalfway out), majority of the muscles at the shoulder blades ,with a few towards the joints. Always half openI tend to sit hunched overb/c of ridiculously large chest, but is effective for this as well.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?

Not sure. Nothing major, if sobut then, Im only 22. The big ones arent supposed to happen for another 10 years or so.

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

High empathy ratingwell, any time its been checked. Im always drawn somewhere. Recently, its been to things like Devils swampsomeplace I know I ought not to besomething called the conductor is therelots of people have met with the lesser things therestill not good. Graveyards (but thats probably b/c I was the survivor of two very close siblings), older houses, places where particular people live. Im drawn to nature in general, partially because I lock myself away in my room too often. Love energy/destruction/power from thunderstorms; am in awe.

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life?

Im Church of Christ. It makes me miserable. Dont change b/c its what I believeraised to, that isbut it hurts to deal with the paranormal b/c of it.

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?

empathic, decent with divination, just know that some things are, dreams that come true (literally, every bit of it)this runs in the family, fathers side, mostly as children, see stuff that isnt quite therebut is all unpracticed, wild, and sometimes out of controlonly looked at it since last summer, dont know what Im doing, would like to keep it that way, but looking like it will not work that way, could train to be a lot of things, I guess, but dont want to go beyond what I am now. Some people might consider me an energy vamp. (Im like a battery that drains, if I dont watch itthink thats under control.) Will say things that dont feel like Im saying themusually a prediction. Once told a friend she would always be alone, but it wasnt ME me. (She has a boyfriend, family and friends, but every time she starts to get too close to one of her best friends something takes them away from her. She has a disease that could leave her blind (shes in graphic design).)

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?

Purpose only lasts as long as the momentfeel lost most of the time. Most often want to see people run around in sheer terror of my own doingthat scares me. Its like being bipolar every single waking minute of the day, but this I keep in check, for the most part. More likely to feel others purpose than my ownsometimes in relation to me (see previous).

Hello everyone,

Usually, I hate it when people make long lists of surveyish questions with some cryptic, unstated motive for doing so; however, I myself find it necessary now to do just that. If you like, and if you have the time, please take a moment to answer some of these. I'll more than likely state my reasons later on, but perhaps not publicly.

If you like, just answer the questions with which you are comfortable, or those that apply to you. You can U2U me if you don't want others to see your responses; I'll happily respond in kind, and perhaps let you know a bit about why I'm asking these questions if it seems that you ought to know.

Thanks in advance for your responses. Trust me, I have my reasons for asking this.

1) Have you ever, as a child in particular but including more recently, had any contact with supernatural entities including but not limited to demons, angels, 'ghosts', or 'shadow people'? Did this encounter include sight only, or tactile, auditory, or olfactory sensations as well?

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

Thanks again, guys. Once again, U2U me with any questions, or with responses you'd rather not post publicly, and I'll do my best to respond as soon as I can.

Thanks a lot,

Xenographer

1. Maybe. When I was 16-19, whenever water was running, I would hear what sounded to me like a forest at night, near a stream. With toads and crickets chirping, running water that was unlike the sound of the actual water running, more like a stream, and the occasional owl. This has come back only once or twice since my teen years. Also, another thing I considered to be a hallucination that took place around the same time... It began with the sound of one musical instrument, like a bass guitar, or a trumpet, playing music that I didn't ever remember hearing before. Just melody and bass lines. This progressed over time to include more instruments in collaboration, until I was hearing entire symphonies in my head. Only they weren't what I could define as 'imaginations' because what I heard was very loud, very lucid, and very realistic. It also seemed to originate from different directions. These episodes would last for no more than 10 seconds each, though, which was disappointing. I grew to love these sounds, but I haven't heard them since I was a teenager.

2. No

3. When I was about 3, I was playing on the bank of the Provo river (one of Utah's largest) at spring runoff, and I fell in and was swept away. I travelled down the river about 100 yards (my mother's account) until a fisherman downstream jumped in and yanked me out. I was lucky that man was there.

4. Only two places. The commode, to which I have no idea why I am attracted until I remember the next afternoon, and those damn women, and all I can figure on that one is that I'm a glutton for punishment and humiliation. Next..

5. No religion.

6. I have strong empathy for peoples state of emotion, and I can sense how they feel most of the time, whether it be bad or good, and sometimes I can guess why. I like to assume and be right, no skill or talent there, I don't imagine. Also, something I currently consider a personal shortcoming, is very strong reaction to my own emotions, which in the past has placed my junk under the proverbial golf clete from time to time. September 11th was particularly paralyzing for a good time. I'm doing what I can to change this liability into an asset for me. The only other thing is that I have a very acute sense of smell, and it has served me well with amazing results in the past. Never date nymphomaniacs - they don't care...

7. Now, I remember having a sense of purpose once... let's see. Yes. I remember. I was a soldier once...and young, too! Then one day, I let go of the rope for some reason...

Now I know the truer meaning of "Always have a backup". I really don't know what I'm going to do now.

Guess I'm still writin'!

The chills...although only because I was in a situation in which one might think there was a "ghost" so in all actuallity I would say no.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

No imaginary friends here.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?

I could have died in an automobile accident but physics averted the situation.

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

Can't say that I do.

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life?

I am not a religous person. I do not follow a faith and it has no effect on my daily life unless someone tries to preach to me.

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?

Yes although I don't know what but I do feel a "power" which I cannot explain. It comes through my mind and hands. People close to me actually feel it and see it yet I cannot control it. No other family members or friends although they may not say because of ridicule from others.

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?

Everyday I try and figure this question as I know there is a stronger purpose for my being here. I will make no guesses as what that may be. I will know when it is time.

1.) no
2.) no
3.) yes. I was on top of a ladder within a chicken processing plant. We were removing the rails that the chain line runs on (iron I-beams which are on struts). I was cutting what I thought was the next to last strut. When I cut thru the whole top section fell straight down onto the top of the ladder. This section is made in a zig-zag pattern like a (~) like ribbon candy. The only space is about just enough for it is fall all the way from shoulder height down the the top of the ladder which caught it and stopped it. Scared me to death...almost!
4.) no
5.) not religous mostly lean towards a more scientific approach. There are a lot of things we do not know yet.
6.) yes
7.) yes I have felt that something is happening now or is about to happen. Don't know what but its the first time I've ever had this feeling and its been a couple of months now.

1. Yes. All of the above.

2. When I was younger, I never had an imaginary friend. I do, however, have dealings with non-physical entities.

3. No, though I was seriously ill and in great pain for a period of 2 1/2 years, and that seems to have affected certain abilities.

4. Yes. Egypt and the Middle Ages, in particular.

5. Not religious, but spiritual. I'm a neopagan, eclectic Witch.

6. Yes, and yes. All of the above to a greater or lesser degree, though my strongest ability is empathy. The gifts seem to have come down the maternal line (traced at least to my maternal great-grandmother), though my sons are showing indications that they share them too.

7. Yes. Rather not say.

1. Never seen any type of paranormal being in my entire life, but I did get my first and best UFO sighting at age four. Big triangle right outside my house. It was a visual and audio experience as the craft was making a loud vibrating noise.

2. No.

3. No. Had some very dangerous illnesses though that were only fixable by modern medicine. Had I lived 100 years ago, I would not have lived to see age 10.

4. No.

5. I was religious until I turned 20. My life experience led me away from religious belief. Before I stopped, I was a United Methodist Christian.

6. No.

7. No.

i used to feel a lot more of that mystical purpose important # in my twenties but now feel i was on a narcisism trip. i think we are all royal infinite multidemensional amazingness worthy of all good things. I have no idea how we can really activate that culturally, personally, interpersonally, permanently
lately thinking i need to get more training in off grid living systems designs, permaculture architechture and money to protect myself and my one year old girl and wife and other loved ones... feeling vulnerable and see through the unsustainable war machine that the global buttmunchers are playing us at.

i'd love to know what , why, all that stuff re: these questions u2u me ifyou prefer it that way.

1) Have you ever, as a child in particular but including more recently, had any contact with supernatural entities including but not limited to demons, angels, 'ghosts', or 'shadow people'? Did this encounter include sight only, or tactile, auditory, or olfactory sensations as well?

From an early age actually. Can recall seeing 'spirits' around me as young as I can remember. But thats how I was brought up and the environment I was in *mother and father, hey, whole family and people are quite spiritual in nature*. Experiences ranged from full-blown engagement as if a real flesh and blood person was in front of me, through to sensing them via 'feel', or just sight, or just sound, or smell, or a collection of any of those. Actually also increased to the point of sensing the 'feelings' emitted by those entities I encountered...and had some experience aiding my Mothers group who cleansed entities from people and places...basically worked as a 'spotter' for them to isolate and spot out exactly where an entity was, and provide them a description of what I was sensing...allowing them to know what they were dealing with better.

This however I electively removed myself from after puberty, as the emotional/spiritual/mental stress of dealing with the 'spirits' was too draining, and at times too terrifying...some of the things I had seen and felt still haunt my mind today...to sense, to feel, what a spirit/ghost may be feeling...to feel their grief, their fear or their anger, to experience the evil of some...it takes a heavy toll on one who was so young at the time. Though in my early twenties returned and learnt ways of filtering out the senses, of controlling and restricting, or focussing them...so instead of just being a wide open receiver getting bombarded with 'information' I could instead operate as a more tuned receiver.

I still sense now, but now I'm more focussed and directed. Having 'matured' in what I do I can channel as much or as little of any sense as I choose...hence gaurding myself from any overload like I was experiencing as a youngster. Very rarely do I see them now, though occasionally I do. Its been some time since I last saw a fully materialised one...now its just mainly the odd shadow. Though I still have a strong sense...and kinda focus what I sense into my mind and form a 'visual' picture of what I'm dealing with that way...which again is a safegaurd so I'm not affronted by the 'spirits' form in its rawness.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

I am from an Ethnic background...NZ Maori...as such I hold a number of old Maori beliefs...some being the belief of having gaurdians watching over us. Also having been a hunter for much of my life, and having spent a great deal of time in the bush, I used to have an animal friend...a 'Morepork' that seemed to accompany me through the forest whenever I ventured into that area alone for a while. This was rather strange as the Morepork would be around me even during the day...when its essentially a Nocturnal bird. It also helped me find my way back to various tracks etc whenever I became disorientated by the undergrowth/forest etc if I was in unfamiliar areas...it would fly ahead and call out...leading me back to a familiar area. To me that Morepork was a gaurdian.

I also believe I have those who are watching over me and aiding me when I need them. Don't know if that will count...but perhaps.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?

Yes...a number of times. Most recently a car crash in which the entire car was left a crumpled mess after spinning off the road, into a ditch, catapulting up into the air and landing on its roof then barrel-rolling an estimated 12 times before resting on its roof. The roof was crushed down to the door-line with a small gap between the windscreen and the bonnet...which I crawled out of. On inspection of the wreckage, both the attending Tow Truck Driver and Traffic Officer swear I should have been killed...yet I escaped with little more than minor whiplash and a few bruises. Also...the interior of the car was so crumpled there certainly appeared to be NO space whatsoever for me to have been IN the car when it stopped rolling...yet I was. The Traffic Officer asked me repeatedly if I was thrown from the wreck, as there simply was nowhere for me to have been in the car...yet witness accounts of those who stopped to aid verify I did indeed crawl out from the car.

At the time I was wearing a protection pendant, a Greenstone (Jade) pendant that had been given to me by my mother...which had been carved and blessed specifically for my spiritual protection. There were a number of other factors after the crash that lead me to believe this pendant played its part...though the full story is too long to tell here. This pendant also alerted me to act and narrowly miss getting stabbed in the neck one night from an attacker I wasn't aware of at the time.

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

Yes...as well as to people. Its after being there or speaking with them I may realise what my role may be in that area or with that person.

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life?

I was raised Catholic...though I am no longer a strict follower of that religion. I have however developed my own connection with the Lord, and so I tell people I have a faith but not a religion...if that makes sense. How does it affect my life? For the better. I know there is nothing in this world that I may ever face that I could not cope with with Him by my side. I have a very strong faith...and from that draw much love, love to show to those I meet...to aid any and all sent my way (or whomever I may be sent to). I am but a servant of Him...and for that I am grateful.

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?

Hmmm...well...those who know me personally would certainly say I do. For instance, I tend to know things before they happen or before I'm told...to the point I will often say something to people about something that they haven't told me about yet. I also seem to be rather empathic...which works rather well in my employment as a Community Mental Health Worker...I seem to just instinctive know how someone I'm working with is feeling...even without being around them...I will just 'feel' it and call them, and sure enough what I'm sensing is correct.

But it also goes beyond that...when I'm with a troubled person, even just sitting with them...for some reason they can't explain but they just start to feel better, calmer. Part of being an Empath is you not only receive...but you can also send...impart within someone else an emotional state with focus.

For some reason...if I have a strong connection with a person...being able to aid and comfort someone doesn't depend on me even being physically present
For instance, recently a close friend of mine *and a skeptic by the way* was/is going through a very rough patch in his life. I would know what he was thinking and call him to talk him through his thoughts at the time...that alone seemed to freak him out a lil at first. But then he also experienced spiritual/projected 'companionship from me...he would actually 'feel' me beside him as if I was actually there...and he would feel so safe and comforted with what he was going through. He said even though he is so skeptical of these things theres no way he could deny what he was feeling...he just knew in his heart I was there, as if I was walking alongside him at the time.

Same with my partner...and with my family. We have a close connection that borders on psychic. My mother could well be classed as such...as could my father.

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?

I have always seen myself as a Warrior...through dreams, memories, readings...all point to a past of being a Protector of others. Thats my calling...to help others...to show love to the unloved, aid those who are overlooked. People are my passion...and thats what I do, not because its my job but because it feels so right for me...I know deep within me its my role - to help, to show love, to protect and to guide. To bring light into the darkness...to offer a hand to the fallen. Service to others....from that I gain my redemption and salvation.

Peace,
ALIEN

1) Have you ever, as a child in particular but including more recently, had any contact with supernatural entities including but not limited to demons, angels, 'ghosts', or 'shadow people'? Did this encounter include sight only, or tactile, auditory, or olfactory sensations as well?

This is going to be long....Well, as a child and up to the age of 17 years old or so, I have been able to hear and see things that i believe where from the spiritual world. Once as a child of age 8 years old or so I saw a being of light in Spain.

I am not sure of its sex, what i can remember is that in one of the apartments I used to live the lights would go out almost every night, while I would see the buildings in front of mine with electricity. After every blackout i would start to hear noises and someone calling my name. I would start playing with my toys to stop thinking about those noises and I was already prepared each night with a few candles to wait for the blackouts to pass. This would normally occur for about an hour or two at the most every night. I never knew if my entire building had those blackouts, since i was a child and was alone at night because both my parents worked from 5 pm until 1 am every night. One of those days when the light went off i saw what i can descirbe a being of light, I got afraid of it but it seemed not to want to scare me. i saw it for about 5 minutes or so. Also in the states, I was around 25, i have seen the spiritual form of a woman over my body once. I wasn't having any sexual dreams, and she was dressed.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

Never had imaginary friends, but I did daydream a lot and still have visions and stuff like that.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?

In quite a few of these I am not sure if I would have died. As a child I was hit twice by cars, nothing happened to me, at least one of those times i should have broken some bones but didn't.

Also as a teenager two friends of mine from the military and I went to explore the everglades, we got lost and could not find potable water, we kept walking for hours trying to find water and I remember seeing one of my friends falling to the floor in front of me and then I blacked out and fell to the floor also, somehow we woke up later and were able to find water.

I don't know if this would count but here it goes.
In the military going through aircrew candidate school, as we were doing the helo dunk one of the 4 times we had to do it I was blindfolded and lost my senses in the helo underwater, i could not get out and felt my lungs about to burst wanting air, then for some reason I just calmed down and didn't feel the need for air anymore, I don't know how long I was down there but was able to get out. I had to repeat that again and the next time i passed just fine.

The most recent one, humm, well, not sure if this one would count either. Went to the Grand Canyon with my best friend and my about to be exwife, (going through a divorce but we are still good friends) we got lost in the canyon at night, with noone around us ( you can't see a damn thing at the bottom of the Canyon with all the mountains around you) and to make it worse i had not taken the compass with me thinking we wouldn't need it.

Well, it occurred to me that i saw that morning some native americans that lived around the area riding horses, so i decided to look for the tracks left by the horses with my lantern, after some time of searching found them and i had to help both my best friend and my exwife climb out of that place and up to this day they say that if it wasn't for me they would not have made it from there. For some reason since i was a child even if I got lost in a place I didn't know, as long as I was surrounded by nature i could find my way out.

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

humm, well, dunno exactly why, i have always felt the need to get out from cities. Many times my parents found me with a makeshift backpack getting ready to go, when they would ask me what I was doing I would tell them that nature was calling me. I still love nature, mountains, rivers, etc, everytime i get a chance I go to national parks.

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life?

I was raised in a religious family, I was even in an opus dei group in Spain called Atazar, I stayed in that group because every weekend we would go hiking and exploring many national parks and natural places that people have not gone to.
But, I am not religious, just spiritual. One of the reasons was that, some catholic pricks, i mean priests would suggest to my mother that i was possesed by the devil, she actually thought the same thing for a long while. I was taken to doctors and psychiatrists and they made all sorts of tests on me but they said pretty much I was normal, just a child with a lot of imagination. *shrugs*

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?

Well, I have visions, sometimes I hear or see manifestations of the spiritual and at times they manifest physically. At times I am empathic i guess, but as i have grown older I have learn that in life there are a lot of people who will be jerks and pricks and the only way to treat those people is in the same way.... i believe in the "An eye for an eye" proverb.
I see mostly the etheric around living beings and objects too among other things.

I am not sure for certain althou I have seen my grandfather in what i think were visions. I have learnt that my grandfather was a mason, an uncle of mine is a mason too and aunt is a rosicrucian. My uncle says he once saw the apparition of the virgin Mary with some other relatives as children, my aunt has a few abilities also.

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?

I have felt there is something i have to do, but I am not sure what it is, I just have the conviction that when the time comes i will know what and when i have to do whatever it is i have to do.

I have been told a few times by other people, one was a stranger, but all with some psychic ability that there is something important i am here to do, but I have never truly believed I am special. I do think we are all here to fulfil something, so all people are important, its just the jerks I cannot stand.

All right. It's been asked that I answer my own questions, and I suppose it's only fair that I do so. Here goes...

1) Have you ever, as a child in particular but including more recently, had any contact with supernatural entities including but not limited to demons, angels, 'ghosts', or 'shadow people'? Did this encounter include sight only, or tactile, auditory, or olfactory sensations as well?

Yes. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed occult and paranormal phenomena of various sorts. These experiences have included visual, auditory, and olfactory sensations, and I have seen the environment altered by such forces, so I suppose that might be counted as tactile.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination?

I have (for whatever reason) a 'spirit guide', in the form of an eagle. I believe that it was 'assigned' to me by the Cherokee grandmother of a very close friend.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?

Yes, I have; I have nearly drowned on more than one occasion, and once fell from a considerable height without injury. I cannot explain my survival of any of these events (which sounds a lot more interesting if you know the context).

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?

Yes. I have always felt a very strong affinity for the area around Glastonbury, England.

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life?

I am a very religious person; I was born and raised Catholic, and continue in the faith even now. I have a strong relationship with God, and have felt His presence almost every day of my life, in one way or another.

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?

I have (much to my chagrin) a fairly strong empathic link with several people, and I tend to vicariously experience pain on their behalf. While it has left me recumbent for weeks at a time in the past (when one such friend was nearly killed), it serves a more utilitarian purpose as a warning in the event that one of these people should be harmed.

Additionally, although I neither possess nor claim to possess high-order psychic ability of any kind, I have a sort of sense that provides me with feedback on the amount of psychic potentiality in an area, or around a person, if that makes sense. I can generally tell when or if a person has the capacity to make use of any kind of extrasensory or extracorporeal talents.

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?

Yes, and I'd rather not say.

1. I think I have seen a: Deamon/Angel/Ghost/Neutral non-human spirit... Most of them have been visual, but sometimes it will be where I just suddenly feel weird and some unconscious voice is screaming "SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT".

2. No I do not have anysort of imaginary companion.

3. Nope.

4. I am drawn to west Texas, but that is because that is where I grew up. Also, I like ireland, because Irish.

5. I am both religious and spirtual.. I believe in a mix between Christianity and Ecclectic Witchcraft.

6. The only one I would even suggest that I have would be empathy and a very detailed understanding of how peoples minds work. (Not bragging) Like I can lead conversations by mentioning something not really associated with what I want to talk about next, but that makes them think of it regardless. Sometimes use it for "good", but most of time use it my betterment/others downfall.

7. Edit: Nope.

1 yes in the past i have twice seen faceless people and more recently i was shadowed by a strange looking man. i saw him once at an airport in germany after the plane i had been travelling on had to land because of a fault and i saw him a second time outside were i was working where i also noticed a strange anaemic looking girl wearing big sunglasses strutting around. both times i saw him he was just sitting reading. there's more to that airplane story
but its to long to go into.

2 yes when i was six i had a little imaginary mouse called jimmy i used to sit him on my shoulder and stroke him. i still get the feeling he's still with me but i dont pet him anymore but i do occasionally talk to him. i get the feeling he is a protector.

3 yes i have nearly lost my head twice and put my survival down to quick reaction and luck . i nearly drowned twice, once i was rescued the second time i just kept on swimming and luckily made it back to shore (i got caught out buy the tide). there were no lifeguards.

4 yes its a whole county and when im there i feel great.

5 i believe that all gods exist and all deserve respect. i dont follow any particular religion i just believe in being good to one and other. the god i pray to, i call, The God With No Name.

6 there has always been a lot of irony in my life and i have met people in my dreams that i have never known before and then meet them for real months afterwards. somtimes i just seem to know things about people that i couldnt possibly know, it just comes to me. my 4 old aunties have lots of ghost stories, which involved themselves.

7 yeah i always felt that i was here to lead. but no further comment

1) Have you ever, as a child in particular but including more recently, had any contact with supernatural entities including but not limited to demons, angels, 'ghosts', or 'shadow people'? Did this encounter include sight only, or tactile, auditory, or olfactory sensations as well? Yes. Auditory. I used to hear whispers. Like people talking around me.

2) Have you ever had, or do you have now, an 'imaginary friend' (the term 'imaginary' is used lightly here; this includes but is not limited to the animal Spirit Guides of Native American lore) that seems to exist in greater detail than would a being of fancy or pure imagination? No.

3) Have you ever had a near-death experience, or been in a situation in which you ought by all means to have died, but did not? What averted this situation?Yes. A strange feeling kept me from getting in a car with a friend to go to the store. A few minutes later, I "heard" a car crash. I told my mom to get in the car and we drove 4 blocks away. There in the intersection was my friends car. It was totalled. The passenger side was non-existent. I would have been killed. My friend was ok. He had a slight concussion, but that's it. I could not explain 3 things...1. Why I didn't go with him. 2. I did not really hear the crash. & 3. How I knew it was my friend in the crash.

4) Have you ever felt a peculiar, strong draw to a certain place for reasons of which you are not certain?
The desert. I have a strong desire to sit upon a rock in the desert and gaze at the stars.(btw, I live in South Florida...no where near the desert.)

5) Are you a religious person? What faith do you follow, and how does it affect your daily life? No. I believe in an all powerful consciousness(sp?) but not one that can be named or called upon by a specific denomination of people.

6) Are you, personally, possessed of any extrasensory abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, strong empathy, aura sight, or an ability to discern psychic potential in others? Do others in your family, or any of your close friends, have any such abilities?Yes. I have clairvoyance, empathy, and aura sight. My oldest son has telepathy.

7) Have you ever, or do you now, feel a strong but indefinable sense of 'purpose' in your life, as though you are meant for some achievement the nature of which you are not certain? What is your 'gut feeling' about this sense of purpose, and what, if you had to guess, are you meant for?Yes. I think there's a name for that particular feeling. It's meant to keep you alive I think. A survival instinct. Everyone should feel special, because they are.

Thanks again, guys. Once again, U2U me with any questions, or with responses you'd rather not post publicly, and I'll do my best to respond as soon as I can.

Thanks a lot,

Xenographer
