Is there any truth to this concept, perhaps spiders do pick up universal enery waves and spin their webs accordingly-your thoughts please-I know the idea is far out but is not a wind up.

‘Spiders are in fact as intelligent as humans beings if not far more so’ comments Mr Yuen Chi an avid UFO researcher from the city of Dalian in China. ‘They are in fact of extraterrestrial origin from a highly advanced civilization. They have been exiled to earth for reasons we do not know’

That quote is just awesome

I love it when people say...."spiders are more intelligent than humans" or "dolphins are...." or insert any animal.

Ok....where is their transport?
Where are their Electronic devices, flying machines or complex mathematical formulas and equations??

I get that animals are extremely intelligent, compared to other animals, and yes, we are also animals.... but seriously.... it's not really a contest is it?

And also...."spiders are aliens who have been exiled to earth for unknown reasons..?"

Oookaaayy

Let's say that the spider web is analogus to the fabric-of-the-universe
I'd also say that the shape of the universe is more likely to resemble a kernel of popped corn...
especially those odd shaped kernals where one can inspect the outside skin of the pre-popped kernal on an inside surface of one section,
and the outside of another section of the massive popped kernal...

i particularly like those pop corns with numberous 'holes' one can see through, and extrapolate that weird architecture to the Cosmos i mentally concieve.

thanks, but i vote for popped corn being a model for the shape of the universe rather than a geometric spider web being a 'map' of the cosmos

when you look at intelligence from the point of view that if you can create something that will "aid" you and use nature to do it, well how is it really that intelligent since nature does offer all of our creations anyway. Thats because they must all follow the laws that govern nature as far as our bodies can sense anyway and all those laws exist and thus all things that can work with these laws are out there. When you live in a completely constructed world where all your food, water, enviroment, thoughts, what you do are all man made and all constructed then how can you ever see anything anyway when you are completely focused on a creation of its own workings that some people have made and completely understand and the vast majority, do not.

Intelligence on our behalf for mostly everyone is actually memory and not intelligence at all, we just absorb some infomation through our bodies and then store a memory of it to regurgatate at a later date and then believe its intelligence when its the normal function of our brain. Oh i can read this book and then write the answer on a test later, THAT MUST PROOVE IM CLEVER? nah that prooves you can remember something just like anyone else could if they had interest in it.

You can look at animals and think oh well there not clever because i can kill them? because i can survive and see what this potential disaster is? why is that intelligent, firstly you have to look at something that we do know and are largely made to think, that we fear death and fear pain, that will be inherent when your body feels something strong it translates to the brain as a bad feeling so that we learn to stay away from it but our minds do not feel pain they just interpret the bodies gathered infomation. So animals may have a different view of living they dont seem to mind when they kill each other because for the most part they dont kill each other and plan it and make it up like we do actually THOUGHT OUT killing, they just do as they need and all work together even though we see it as well this kills one thing, thats not good. We have no idea about animals because all of what we think is totally constructed by ourselves on the most part then we try to fob off what an animal is like based on our own perspective of how we think so they must think but lesser, like when you see a dog waggling its tail OH IT MUST BE HAPPY, thats not the case at all its not the same for animals, they are not like us in those ways and really they seem to be more intelligent in the fact that they arent destroying there food, there water, the enviroment, there thoughts infact they are keeping it very much intact and we are killing all of what we need to live so really who is more intelligent?

Bats have better hearing than us does make them smarter, just smart at what they do, there technology is their own biology. Not saying this theory is true on this thread but sometimes you have broaden the understanding of nature, and if other beings are able to come through different dimentions, some may not be smart but just happen to have the right conditions to do so.

THere is a Native American Myth about Grandmother spider that would connect to your post

an excerpt from Grandmother Spider And The Web Of Life

THE WEB OF LIFE
by Taino Ti (I share the Spirit of the Earth with you)

When the Universe was still so dark that not even shadows could be seen in the night, Grandmother Spider sat in her web in the Sky World, waiting and watching. No one knows how old Grandmother Spider is, or how long she sat waiting for the Universal Mind to awaken. But, every Creature Being who has ever lived knows her song and dance as the weaver of the Web of Life.

From her web, Grandmother Spider observed the first thoughts as the Universal Mind awakened from the dream. Seven energy beings floated out from the shining light in the center of the Universal Mind and solidified into bright, shining stars who went out to take their places in the Sky World. Grandmother Spider took a very deep breath and softly began to sing her weaving song while she danced across the Sky. As she spun her thread, Grandmother Spider envisioned the Web of Life. Within moments, she had woven her web connecting the seven stars and creating the Spirit Doorway through which all of the rest of life would enter

The seven stars reflected the spectrum of all colors within their glow. Dancing with the colored light, shadows came into being as the darkness took form. More thoughts flowed from the Universal Mind, entered through the Doorway of the Seven Stars, and took their places in the Sky World. These became more stars, suns and planets. Then, many other thoughts entered the Universe, each one taking a specific place according to the universal dream of harmony.

Each thought was a spirit essence who dreamed an individual dream for manifesting life. Grandmother Spider spun her web around each new energy being and the Universal Web of Life shimmered in the reflection of Great Mystery's light.

Singing her song and weaving the Web of Life, Grandmother Spider continued with her work. The Sky World filled with light and life as her creative process unfolded. As the stars, suns and planets prepared to give birth to their children, Grandmother Spider spun her cord even longer, so that all of the newly born could be included in the Web of Life. Grandmother Spider continues to weave the Web of Life throughout every cycle of creation.

All life everywhere in the Universe is connected by the Web of Life. We are not separate beings. We are each a part of the Great Mystery, manifesting as an individual awareness in a separate physical body, but sharing the same energy as all other life. The energy web is anchored within our center and is our connection to the Great Mystery.

If you say everything is connected through grandmothers web then yes that connection would be reflected in all spider webs

Well that seals it, Allnewsweb has lost all credibility. The answer to your post is NO. I would suggest taking anything Allnewsweb has to say as nothing more then a tabloid paper with an alien shaking Bill Clintons hand on the cover.

spiders are smarter? BS... im beginning to think that --.com isnt credible.

the only way that a spider web could resemble the universe is if its a fractal.

Open your eyes, be a bit more open minded. The theory has more validity to it than you might think. It is true that small glowing orb type UFOs cluster in woodland areas known to have large spider populations.
There are documented cases of people 'catching' the orbs to get a fistful of cobweb.
The theory fits-think about it.

its quite hard to find proof for things when everything is constructed around the ideas and proof that we are told or allowed to know. So when you have proof that conflicts with a known theory everyone tends to say people are wrong because the whole system of proof has also been constructed along with all of our other non changing, ever present man made society. Haven't you noticed all the theories we know of almost are all in-complete? Would you build a jet and say yeah this works, it can fly but it can't land? So if theories have large holes in that surely means that something is wrong with this theory and when you look at alot of the more strongly BELIEVED theories, such as evolution and relativity it seems as if things are crammed into them over time just to fit the gaps but just cause even more because there is obviously some infomation that is being withheld from the overall of all ideas that can never complete them. Why would the government have secrets if what we knew wasn't just lies, if what we are ALLOWED to know is real and true, what would be the point in having MASS ammounts of secrecy?

now i know theories can perhaps never be fully complete as new infomation is found and maybe an ongoing works but then why not just have something else that works more rather than just filling the spaces as you might just be walking down the never ending corridor and no answers. Within the universe it is changing but there are things within it that require reason for anything to happen and have solid rules to why they happen so when our ideas of how it works get to be OUR OWN IDEAS to much instead of what is really happening it can send you off and to much within your ideas, you must look at how something is rather than relating back to what your memory is telling you, you think you know.

Ok....where is their transport?

They have got 8 legs too so can run quick
and those jumping spiders are wicked (my favourite type of spider).

Where are their Electronic devices,

Dont need it with there spidy sense

flying machines or complex mathematical formulas and equations??

you ever see them travel through air on there silk threads
and there webs - well ....

The Golden Orbs Web:

Orb Web Spider is not the largest spider, but makes the largest and strongest web. It gets its name from the golden colour of its silk.
The web can run from the top of a tree 6m high and up to 2m wide. Unlike other spider webs, the Golden Orb Web Spider's web is not dismantled often and can last several years.
Designed to catch large flying insects, the web is slightly angled. It is not a perfect wheel and is usually off-centre. To make its web, the spider releases a thin thread into the wind. When it catches on something, the spider walks along it trailing a stronger non-sticky thread. It repeats the process in the centre of the line to form a strong Y-frame. Around this, it spins the rest of the web out of sticky capture silk.

The silk is so strong that it can trap small birds, which the spider doesn't eat. These trapped creatures often destroy the web by thrashing around. To avoid such damage, the spider often leaves a line of insect husks on its web (like the safety strip across glass doors!); or builds smaller barrier webs around the main web.

I think spiders are intelligent, and are self dependant unlike humans. That said, they still creep me out along with insects, (ants, wasps, locusts ect.) its the i'm on a mission and have no emotions that gets to me

Still are they more intelligent than humans....well who's the ones caught in the web?
