Can i get some examples for "Law of Syllogism"?

I just learned about the Law of Syllogism last week, and our teacher made us do stories with them.
ex.
If try i put my shoes on, then i will need a new dog.

If i try to put my shoes one, then my shoe lace will break.
If my shoe lace breaks, then i will step out of my shoe while walking.
If i step out of my shoe while walking, then i will trip.
If i trip, then i will fall.
If i fall, then my dog will of course be there.
If my dog is there, then i will squash her.
If i squash her, i will need a new dog.

Not a very good one, but i just came up with it. Give me some examples of some funny ones. We all could use a laugh.
