As far as I know, there is no reason for that to happen, the seismic waves that reach the other side of the world are much weaker, so they should
start earthquakes near and not far away from the original quake.
And, also as far as I know, some of those graphs always look different from the other, maybe they have a different system or they are not working as
they should.
I think you could ask the people that post on the
Quake watch 2009 thread, they have
much more knowledge of these things than myself.
