Plantiffs provide notice to the district court of former-Secretary Kempthorne's admission that he was aware of the IG Report and his representations contained in his quarterly reports. This is the second notice regarding the May 2008 IG report.

No wonder the IIM's statement of accounts mailed out every 3 months only contained a measley 3 cents! It cost the government MORE to mail out the damn thing! Were Native American's unknownly supporting hostile countries? Ken Salazar's report is due by the end of April. It will be interesting to note his findings. Hopefully, Salazar and President Obama will face this problem head-on. Native American's have been fighting a case for 13 years. The next scheduled court date is May 11th, 2009 before Chief Judge Sentelle, Circuit Judge Ginsburg and Senior Circuit Judge Randolph. It's not fair that Native American's should have to deal with government lawyers, in order to get money that's been owed them for over 100 years. Maybe the Big Wigs will now take Notice with All this corruption going on, within the Interior Department. How many Billions of dollars have been stolen from Native Americans?

You can not measure the cost of the devastation brought upon the Native American population.

It was a holocaust. Genocide, plain and simple. Orders of magnitude greater and more disgraceful and grotesque than any the planet has ever seen.

To put a dollar amount on it would be to cast the same 'white European' curse of 'ownership' and 'money' on the Native Americans. Sadly, many have already succumbed to it - tragically, many embrace it willingly - even to the detriment of their own people.

The only true justice would be equally as horrific and painful; and from what I can tell, even they don't wish that on anyone. It appears that they were then, and are now, still more 'civilized' than the new multicolored/multi-cultured "Americans".

Old-world wealth and power have nearly murdered justice and shame.

It's up to us to protect what remains.

Has the US ever kept any promise they have made with the Native Indians?

With the billions the US has given to no good companies, one would think that 47 Billion to the Native Indians would be a honorable thing to do.

I too find it senseless that this has to be fought out in court. The only ones gaining here are the government and the lawyers.
