I breathe, and your name comes to mind. The very thought of you brings tears to my eyes. I remember everything, your eyes looking into mine. Your lips softly touched mine, my moment in time, frozen forever, for now only I remember.

Katie, I loved you at first sight, only then didn't realize, the pain I'd feel when not lost in, your eyes. I tremble for your touch, I long for you and I miss you. I miss you in all of my waking hours, a horrible crush, but not so in dreams because it's then and only then when our souls finally touch.

Everytime I hear that name something in me is struck. The one that got away. The one that loved me, when I couldn't love myself. The face that I can recall on demand. The voice I can still hear, whose heat I can still feel.

Man, such a blown oppurtunity, such a beautiful girl.

That name rocks bells in my head. It's sacred to me. I hold it sacred purposefully because I never want to forget her, that time in my life, or what I learned in the process.
