People are currently being released from the front of the American Civic Association at 131 Front St., the site of a shooting this morning. At least four people have been taken out on stretchers.

Four people left the building with hands on their hands. Police were searching some of them.

Four people have been taken to hospitals. The Binghamton and Broome County SWAT teams are on the scene, along with a negotiator.

As a trained USMC MOUT (millitary ops urban terrainin) instructor I would have never imposed a situation this tuff for my Marines.

Perhaps Ding Chavez and John Clark are needed.

The only positive is 1 confirmed shooter... lets hope his use of distraction tech. is sloppy and the shooters can get a shot on him without anyone else dieing.

1 tango 40 hostages, two possible rooms with the hostages... but if its just one shooter how do you hold 40?
