First post!

I've been itching to tell people this but eh, havn't done it.
I was with someone I knew who is in the military and talking with them for a while. And he told me about this one guy who he became friends with and talked with for a while. Now, this guy has a job in the graveyard shift to watch material from the Columbia space disaster through a little hole. Apparently its been burning ever since it crashed back in the 80's.

And he also discussed how the military would move in case of a complete lockdown on society.
But thats for personal use. XD
Any other stories anyone wants to post, please, post em. I'd love to hear some stuff.

In WWII,
because of gasoline and tire shortages,
www.trumanlibrary.org...

Gasoline and tire shortages led to rationing, followed by rationing of many other goods such as sugar, butter, cheese, canned goods, and meat. Tires, tin, kitchen fat, grease, silk, and other scarce materials were saved and recycled for the war effort.

, (although the old timers that told me this say it was to keep the public from traveling),
They would steal a jeep, take the tires, and literally bury the entire vehicle so it would not be found.

Then, they would rent cars (now with good tires, and sometimes one of the few vehicles with tires) to those without, which was most, and make a few bucks while offering transportation to those who otherwise would be without.

And on a lighter note.
A friend's sister just transfered to Whidbey Island and five of us went up to visit.
We stayed up late helping her move in, then went tripping around the graveyard accross the street.

The girls (mostly the new naval enlistee we were visiting), were fraked out and it was litterally pitch black.

As we intentionally spooked them as we could, I suddenly stepped into a fresh grave and sank up to my thighs.

Using this to advantage, I screamed "something's got me", as you could see enough to tell I was sinking.

That got them turned around and out of there before I could climg out and brush myself off.

Got a few more, nut enough for now.

I had a co-worker tell me one day as we were talking that during his years stationed in Vietnam on a airbase that we had the stealth F-117 there then. He said except it was painted with a blue and gray cammo. This was around 1969 he said. He told me the particular base...but I can not remember the name now. It was over a year ago he told me that. The strange thing about that is he died from Leukemia shortly after that. He just came into work one day saying his arm hurt really bad and the side of his mouth not moving when he talked. That was the last time I ever saw him again.

I'm stunned nobody jumped on this...Columbia crashed in 2003, Challenger was the one that blew up in 1986. But regardless of which one you're referring to, I can't imagine how any pieces could still be burning after this long, and it's even harder to believe that no one else noticed if pieces were still burning when investigators collected them.

Should this thread have the words "delusional fantasy" somewhere in the title?

Well it got the attention it deserved, you know "a friend of mine who knows a guy, this guy told my friend...", type deal, plus not knowing the difference between the Columbia and Challenger disasters, pretty much killed any credibility of the OP....IMO.

Oh yeah, and still burning wreckage from the Challenger in the 80's?....since it fell in the Atlantic Ocean, i think that might be doubtful.

Again, just MHO.

My mistake on the shuttle disaster.

But isn't the secondhand account always the one that gets around? Hell, thats how most conspiracies go on to mass recognition.

And It the stuff they collected that needs to be monitored.

and yes, there is no way of confirming these things. But it doesn't mean that we shouldn't say them.

There's a book called "Fer de Lance: A Briefing On Soviet Scalar Electromagnetic Weapons" that claims both the Challenger and Columbia were downed as a result of Soviet scalar weapons that are similar to HAARP -- which the Russians apparently had a significant lead in developing. Scalar weapons were purportedly first used against the USS Thresher during her sea trials in the 1950s. Electronic communications aboard her escort surface ship were reportedly so jumbled that it took a half hour to establish radio communications and report the accident. There's even a photo somewhere on the internet of a weird-looking purple streak of lightning either striking or in close proximity to Columbia as it entered the atmosphere, shortly before it broke up. But the sky is completely clear, without a cloud in sight.
