If some catastrophic event occurs and you end up dying in it, that will be the end. It would be so much better dying knowing that you lived your life to the fullest than dying spending most of your time worrying about what doomsday event will take place. Obviously death is inevitable, so instead of spending time wondering what's going to happen, get out and enjoy your life while you still can, because from the looks of things, there doesn't seem to be much time left.

I'm not worried about it. "It's" going to happen just like everything else has happened throughout history.

Why? Why just let it happen? Why not prepare for it if you can? Why not fight it? Why not try to survive?

The problem is that the future is now. Politicians would like us to live in the now while they worry about the future for us. Nah! plucky is mad, now! and it's for the future!

Oh yeah, just watch the butterflies and the birds and the bees, do they worry? Not a single moment. Coz they need no money.

If you're saying about their daily survival, you're right about that!

But remember when something bad's about to happen, they make strange behavior, they migrate elsewhere.. That's called instinct, and I believe we got instincts too, just do what you have to do, but also try not to be selfish at the same time!

Worrying is sometimes good, but sometimes, it's also bad for the inner peace, you have to strike a good balance...

Maybe you're right. Maybe everything is predestined.
But that doesn't mean they shouldn't fight it.

Maybe the outcome isn't what you think it will be.
Maybe the catastrophes aren't meant to happen.

While your method is a great way for someone to maximize their living...
You presume too much.

I find a bit of ironic humor in the fact that you are trying to change the very thing you don't think can be.

By coming on here and telling people this, by your own words, you're wasting your time.
As, their fates are already determined, and cannot according to you be altered.

So, It's late, I'm tired and I could have misunderstood...
But isn't this post a contradiction of itself? I'm not trying to be a jerk, or anything, just trying to follow your logic.

yeah, you are right in terms of natural catastrophy. but the economical collapse is much different. you can say - so let it be, I do not care. but what when you are responsible not only for yourself? I can not lay down my family. I have to worry!!!

So everyone should just relax and live their life to the fullest. Those brave soldiers who fought for our country time and time again should of not worried about the revolution or WW1/WW2. We shouldn't worry about an attack on our country cause it's going to happen anyway. No use preparing for any future.

What about my children? I worry about their future and their children's future. We have to be prepared and ready to fight for our families future. We should be standing up and fighting for their future right now the way the Government is handling things. I want to go out knowing that I tried my best for my kids and that I wasn't just a selfish man who only cared about himself. I want to live my life to the fullest and that to me means preparing for the future for my kids and fighting against Government corruption so my family can live a better life than I did. I'm going to enjoy my time with friends and family but I'll also keep a look out for the future and what lies ahead for my loved ones.

This thread sounds like why we're in the situation we're in! Sorry.
By not worrying about the future we have dug a hole for
ourselves and forgot to tie the rope to the tree to climb out!
We have created an unsustainable future for ourselves.

I see your point and I agree, enjoy one anothers company
and all the good in life now, but please live within your means!
For the health of everyone and the next generations! Thanks!

If your living a life with no control over, how can you live it. If the thread starter has a free life then good for you, but not everyone can live free. Some of us have had our lifes totally destroyed by scum, and they will not let us live in society.

So how do you live a life, when scum do not let you. Plus no, you cannot move away as scum will follow you there to destroy you there also.
