Try being a rational human being, and all that other stuff. It's one thing having being in a situation where you can be killed, while trying to kill other humans, and knowing that you can kill. It's another to be a member of the 1337st Chairborne Rangers Internet Division.

What's up high-speed..?

Right down the road from you - 3/101st aviation from 93 - 96.

Well, got a buddy in there - u2u the name (maybe) and see what's what...

Funny story...

I caught wind of the night stalkers after signing up for SFAS...talked to a few berets that told me it was a tight outfit and the TDY pay was tops...

So, I meet with the 3/5 platoon sgt. (55Bravo here) and things go just fine...I'm already counting the days to being a night stalker and all the fun that goes with it...(yes, the job is serious and deadly, just tealin' how I felt about it then, right or wrong)

Well, the previous month I had to go to Air Assault school
and showed up drunk as hell...long story short - got AR 15 and 2 weeks extra duty...and it was my very own Sgt. Major that picked me up, ran me about 3 miles (yes, I puked a few times) and then smoked me in front of the WHOLE battalion...

In the end, 160th contacts my battalion to verify my MOS, ect. and guess who gets on the phone to represent..? Yes, the goddamn SM...

They denied the transfer...

But hey - Black Hawk Down happened about 6 months after that...maybe I got lucky...

Appreciate the post...take care.

OMG!!! You showed up for Air Assault training drunk?! LOL!!! Dude you sound like you'd have been a hell of a lot of fun! I was 82nd back in the day and the rivalry between us and the good folks in the 101st was all in good fun. I would not have wanted to be in your shoes that day, lol.

And btw... they say all good soldiers get at least 1 article 15.

Let me get this straight.

Severe PTSD leading to irrational behaviour has been diagnosed in the OP at a distance by another poster based on what was written in a conspiracy forum.

Everyone else then has to refrain from in any way questioning the purpose and motive of the post or asking for more information.

In addition, any other posts from people who, anonomously and without verification, indicate that they may possibly have been in the situation you describe, are to be viewed with greater weight and/or greater refrain than someone who has never been in that situation.

Try being rational yourself and answer me this then - do you think I have ever been in the situation described ?

Please note this post in no way means to ridicule any genuine member of the armed forces or any public service who are exposed to these situations, nor the subject of PTSD and the devestating effect this can have on very courageous and brave people.

Whatever you saw, I hope it wasn't under adversarial conditions.

If a superior ordered me to attack an alien there is no way I'd follow that order. A lot of service people have been killed in such confrontations, accidents happen.

I bet if this thing was coming at you, you wouldn't hesitate to follow orders...

Unless your to busy crapping your pants or running away...

Everything is relative

Ok I have been reading this thread and I personally know the OP. I have known him for years and he is not lying about being in the military or what he has seen while in. I guess you would have to know him to know why he said what he said(the obscene part ppl are talking about) Personally I laughed cause it sounds just like him.
He is a very honest and giving person and would do anything for a friend or loved one, I know this as fact. I also know of some of his experiences with things not of this world and I believe him 100% It took him a while to tell me, but he only told me a few things and I dont pressure him. If he wants to tell me he will and if not he wont. It is hard for him to talk about this stuff and this I know as fact as well. Sorry but I had to defend a dear friend of mine because I feel people are so unfair on here at times. Until you have these kinds of experiences you will never know how hard it is to discuss, let alone put a time limit on how long it should take before one feels comfortable talking about it....Side note my grandfather to this day wont talk about his military experiences with strange and unusual things because it is too hard for him and he is in his 80's! So it can happen! Sometimes people just want to come to a place and chat with others about their experiences but when one gets attacked it kind of reminds them why they havent talked (thats how I see it)

You come here, you start a thread looking for people to share their stories while you won't share your own because your "not comfortable"?
The very least you could do is provide something to back up your claims, but instead you attack people who request you prove your claims?
What kind of special ops is uncomfortable with anything? Its the rules of the world. if you make a statement you be darn sure you can back it up. That goes anywhere and you well know that. Man up and walk the walk.

BTW guys.. this guy registered today just to make this post. Reese is the name of the guy John Connor sent back to help his mother in Terminator.

We may have a troll. I would love to be wrong about that.. but it smells like chicken!

LOL! I am sorry but that made me laugh. Like I said I know the OP and this is tooooo funny. No he is not a chicken I can assure you. Also I dont believe he even watches The Terminator, believe I tried to and he wouldnt watch it. So that theory is gone!

You were truly a glutton for punishment. Just wait until your SF, and go to a Ranger Company!

They damn near killed half the Ranger Company in their attempt to run the two of us into the ground.

My heart would have burst before I would quit!

After that, they left us alone and quit trying to impress us. I could barely walk the next day, but damn if I was going to let them know it.
