Red River SitX

Just in case you'd forgotten the dusting of snow in U.K. and the floods and fires in Australia here's another SitX for your consideration.

FARGO, N.D. – Thousands of shivering, tired residents got out while they could and others prayed that miles of sandbagged levees would hold Friday as the surging Red River threatened to unleash the biggest flood North Dakota's largest city has ever seen. The agonizing decision to stay or go came as the final hours ticked down before an expected crest Saturday evening, when the ice-laden river could climb as high as 43 feet, nearly 3 feet higher than the record set 112 years ago.

If my memory serves this river has an annual battle with the residents. It's a dilly too.

Can the journalist be believed? "The agonizing[sic] decision to stay or go..." I suppose for many the decision is whether to ride it out on your property or head for high ground.

One positive from this is the collective communal will to work together. They've been known to pull all-night shifts using anyone who can lift a shovel.

Riding it out shouldn't be a problem if you live in the city limits. Everyone who is capable of using a shovel or stacking sandbags has been working around the clock to barricade all the houses. As long as it crest's at what they say it will.

Honestly, I have no pity for anyone affected by this.

Every 3 years or so this river breaks its banks. The big Miss breaks its, always some sorry sob who lives on a river watching their house being devoured by a river. Gets old. Move. Get away from the water and these things wont happen to you.

Hell, I spoke with a realtor once about buying a house on the Mississippi, one of his biggest selling points was that you get a new house funded by FEMA every few years because of flooding. Give me a break.

I have alot of snow and ice in my area right now, much more than usual, I expect rampant flooding in a few weeks. Everyone else just living as usual, no worries except getting to work and home and whatever. Ill be in the hills as soon as I start to see consistant +40F outside. Sandbagging? Have fun with that. Dont build there to begin with, I didnt, and dont really care all that much about your treasured property.

That area is the ideal place where everyone should have a BOB, and all new houses should be built on stilts.

Has anyone noticed anything odd about the flood on the Red River recently? Freezing temperatures all day long and the flood waters kept going higher. So cold that water freezes but it was melting.

I am the man of wisdom right out of the book of Revelation. The Red horseman rides. Neutrinos annihilate on molecules. Molecules with chlorine produce infra-red energies. Chlorinated water is a benefit for diseases but causes extra energy to be added to rivers and the ocean. This is the phenomena melting the polar ice caps and glaciers. The US government holds off the supernova of our Sun under my direction and there is a lot of sodium used in the solar programs and not much chlorine. So big imbalance and chlorine is being dumped into rivers and the ocean big time. Define a train load as the capacity of 100 train cars then 200 to 300 train loads per day is the amount of chlorine. The Sun and local hypernova are producing record neutrino intensities. Anyone notice beta Bootes at 36.7 ly has gone hypernova? All of the local big stars shall go hypernova within the final 1260 days.

The Red horseman also rides with a battle axe chopping off heads. Extra neutrino annihilation in the brains of people cause murder suicides and there has been many of those lately. I called an extinction level event for the North Atlantic on April 25, 2009. A supernova blast wave of 6.59 Tunguska. 1 Tunguska is 25.8 megatons so everyone on Earth might experience this blast. There are about 30 of these supernova blast waves we should be worried about. A double that kills the entire country of Italy and western United States in the same day.

Thats an interesting angle.

I hope this whole event doesnt become a massive rescue event either way.
