The world economy is collapsing in a heap, but it doesn't have to be all bad news.
I don't want ATS buddies who love to travel to miss out on this once in a lifetime chance.

Currently most airlines are in a price war to try attract customers. Their loadings and dollar yield is the lowest in 30 years. Well the lowest ever really. Additionally, most airlines have dropped their fuel surcharges compared to 6 months ago saving you hudreds of dollars.

The other thing to keep in mind where airlines cut off agent commissions to drive customers to their websites 5 years ago, they have now mostly started to re introduce commissions to travel agents so the travel agent can discount further to what is on the web....good tip to keep in mind, hopefully that lasts, you should be able to get about another 5-15% % off the airline web price in some instances as they sell at gross, and supply the agent with commission from that gross value that the agent can share with you.

So now is the time to jump on it. Some examples are :
* LAX-SYD vice versa with new players Delta and V Australia (Virgin subsidiary) starting to fly this route mean a price war. Fares starting from 545.00 (AUD and about $384USD ) return with Qantas.

Other airlines with incredible Global sales are
*Etihad London-Sydney return from $420 pounds
*London via China from $289 pounds to Australia with China Eastern (they're not bad)
*Iberian Airlines (spanish One world partner very good carrier) South Africa-
London/Madrid from 1380 South African Ran or 95 GBP
*New York-London from 68.00 USD with Air France
*LA-Honolulu with American Airlines from $179 USD return

You'll find there are departure taxes to add and
Seats are already very hard to find so get going with it if you have need to fly

The special tend to be for the next 6 months.
Ticketing needs to be done by 31 March so if you are planning a getaway get in now to not miss out.

Additionally hotels in Europe have decreased by about 30% which wont last long, they are hiking prices in April.

Happy holidaying....Zazz
