Look at history. Every life and mind-changing discovery has always been met with ridicule in the beginning. My opinion is that we as human beings resist BIG changes to our ways of life, our ways of thinking. We like to think that we are capable of BIG changes, but in the end very few of us actually make those changes. Even those who shout the loudest for BIG changes are still living their day to day existence pretty much the same as they have been for years. It simply takes a lot of work to adjust to BIG changes and it is something the human race struggles with.

Exactly! Humans have a tendancy to live according to the past...

We need to live in the present, wich is not that easy, i must admit.

We have been conditioned to live by a certain way of thought, by social influences, etc...

Freedom of the mind is the key to liberate us from fear.
