In search a simple psi meter

I am looking for a simple home made psi-meter. In my understanding, a psimeter would should any electrical changes or polarity changes in force fields created by super natural entities. It would also measure the occultic emotive force in readings from various texts, whether religious or magical in nature.

How would i go about constructing a simple device like this.
Is it possible to adapt a volt meter, making a few changes on IC board?

Ideas anyone?
