I've been into the unexplained for a good 20 years now and though I'm a sucker for new and exciting books on UFO's...is there really any message out there for us?

You read the words from all of the fringe speakers and the ones considered sane...many, almost all, have these foreboding messages of death and terror and world pollution and galactic federation terror...and yet...through all of the horror that awaits us...I wonder how these messengers of armageddon can possibly capitalize from these prophecies.

I'm not trying to be naive, I fully understand the value of a dollar and the need for many many dollars but has anybody ever noticed the people with the biggest, baddest, most important life changing information are the first to run to a publishing house? Or a UFO convention with trinkets and gee gaws?

Have many of you lost faith in some of these warnings and messages because of the commercialism attached to them?

History is rampant with hypocrites who are more concerned about making a buck than actually helping anyone or discovering the truth. What I wonder about these folks is do they believe their own BS, or are they intentionally scamming people.

I think that there are a lot of messages out there that are published for us to read. A lot of it is interesting and helps one to think about what may be possible. The most important thing is to judge on ones own whether what is published is true or not, according to ones own values.

I also think that commericialism as it is today is the only way of reaching the masses. Handing out flyers will do no good when you try to get the message across.

I agree that commercialism today is one of the best ways to reach the masses but it's far from the only way of reaching them. This is the 21st century...there's more forms of free communication then at any other time in history...information is instantaneous and can be obtained free online.

Most seem to spend months or years prepping this information for books, movies and whatever else...it makes a person think how truly important the message is if it's something that can sit on a publishers desk for 5 months and on bookshelves for 5 years.
