Took the words right out of my mouth.

I've watched as society has devolved from a time when if a child saw a Police Car they would signal the Officer to sound their siren and get a smile and a wave in return, to a society where children run when they see the Police.

I've watched as society has devolved from a time when police officers protected and served the general population, to a time where they exist only to serve and protect government and the interests of large corporations. The used to carry a pistol and a billy club, now each one has access to body armor and an automatic weapon in their police cruiser. I've watched as the police have devolved from defending people's constitutional rights, to infringing on them with every arrest they make. Never even bothering to question, is what I'm doing right?

Bad behavior among civilians has increased dramatically in my life and I've watched the Police behavior mirror it. Police behavior is simply mirroring the erosion of families and communities as we move towards a Secular Society without moral foundation.

When you criminalize every day, nonviolent, victimless behavior, you should expect that the amount of so called "criminals" will increase. When the laws made infringe upon the freedoms they were meant to protect, police have no choice but to infringe upon those freedoms.

The moral foundation, moral compass arguments always make me laugh. Who decides whats moral? You? We should all be held accountable to your standard of whats right and wrong?

I've always felt that my body is a sovereign nation. Along with everyone else. Behavior that does not infringe upon the rights of another sovereign nation/body, should not be criminalized.

But that's not the goal here. Prison is a growth industry in this country. We imprison our own population, we've built new camps to imprison either the rest of us, or illegal immigrants.

The majority of people in prison in the US are nonviolent drug offenders. People who haven't hurt anyone. People who choose something different at the end of the day to make them feel complacent to their circumstance.

If you're not familiar with the Stanford Prison Experiment you should take a look at the above website. Basically, a group of volunteers came in, they split them randomly into prisoners/guards. Students assigned as guards became sadistic, within the confines of the experiment. Students assigned as prisoners mental states changed to accept that this was their new reality, no longer an experiment.

System of a Down does a song call, "Prison Song." I never really entirely believed what they were trying to tell me, until now.

No but the fact that he was a convicted felon on parole who was armed with a handgun and a semi-automatic rifle tends to indicate that he had something other than a tea party in mind for his upcoming social schedule.

Not all cops are good or bad, they are people. The same goes for people caught in the system.

On balance I would dare to suggest that there is a slightly higher percentage of "bad" people among the prison population, than there is among the officers sworn to protect us from them.

Nelson Mandela was in jail so was Ghandi ( not the end of story).

And your logic here is what - felons are all really world leaders at heart and we should let them all go??

Its pretty obvious to me what he had planed. There also seems to be some indicators why he felt compelled to commit murder suicide. If you want to ignore them, that’s up to you.

Suggest away. I never suggested anything about percentages. Just not all cops are good and not all cons are scum of the earth. Is that so hard to understand? Or are you in denial?

My logic is.
I was responding to the statement ( there are no good criminals ) as you can see that is not true. I never said all felons. I never said let anyone go.

Whats your logic? To twist and inject nonsense into what someone stated, to bolster validity into your opinion?
