I am sure most, if not all, of you are familiar with the basics of quantum mechanics. I've seen countless threads explaining quantum mechanics and
how it works. There was even a website that had "the elegant universe" on video. It was Awsome....
I was particularly interested in the parts where string theory was explained. It makes so much sense, but really, there is no proof of strings
existing. And now there is a huge hype over it, with a blind fold on, of course. What are the strings made of???... DOes that not really matter or
wat???....i mean, if they are made out of something, they are obviuosly not the most fundamental particle/element/watever u wanna call it. SO saying
that it makes no difference exploring further makes no sense to me watsoever. How do we know that there isn't a whole new world of physics deeper
down, past strings. And most of all wat kind of technology are we gonna need to explore further, because i dont think atom smashing will get us much
deeper.
