Something's going on- "Situation Charlie"

I did a search on this term and found a post from 2006

which mentioned "U.S. military installations go to Force Protection Condition CHARLIE (imminent terrorist attack)". Turns out I have heard(1st hand) new preparation guidelines are being expedited to cover everything from terrorist attacks to Sit X to dirty bombs. The person mentioning this said this is being given high priority at bases throughout the US. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

was talking to a navy officer from Mcdill, and well ... when the subject came up he clamed up... so, I would say, the lie is different at every level. and he was told a hum dinger.

I will say this that the person I heard it from had a grave- dead serious look about him. My understanding is they have to report in the next month that they have a plan and it has been communicated.
