I just finished Carl Sagan's The Demon-Haunted World.
ISBN: 978-0-345-40946-1
Never thought I would read a book like that. VERY Good book!!!!
It was very easy to read and understand. I thought he would be like William F. Buckley, Jr. speaking.............
It seems to me the overall theme was we need to learn "critical thinking". Not enough of us do that including myself!
Chapter 3 I felt a different tone compared to the rest of the book, kind of like he was lying to cover up something, but then it may be me cause I
believe their is something more to mars and the moon in an ET sort of way.
Chapter 10 was by far the best, A Dragon in my Garage. Very very interesting. If more people that post in the threads started by the faithful and
atheists would be required to read this first those discussions (arguments) could be shorter and more to the point, just my opinion...
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!
Anyone else read it? What did you think?
