Got me a glitch...

I got a "new to me" computer that was supposed to be internet ready when I got it.
hahaha.
It was completely wiped of everything and it didn't even have an ethernet card in it.
Regardless, my son got it up and running for me..thanks much, but we still have one problem.
I have NO SOUND.
It is a Dell pent.4 with an onboard soundcard. We cannot find the correct drivers for it.
Even went to the dell website..no avail.
The only thing we found was a program that is a pay for use system that scans your pc for all missing drivers and will then give you the option to download them. I'm a cheapskate though.
Any ideas????

What's the model #?

Almost forgot. You should have a "service tag" number on the outside of the case itself.

You can use the following link to see how it was configured upon leaving the factory, as well as to ensure you have the proper drivers for each piece of harware that requires any.
