Underground Bases a Good Move

If you think about it, only now does the government have the ability to make these underground cities, I am not scared of them, I believe all the base closings above ground are do to moving into ones below ground. Think about it, why would you want to expose your assets above ground, they started with missle silos and moved on through technology to underground cities. It just makes sense. If we can have all our installations in hardened underground areas, great, the bases above ground are in view of satelites and over head flights. Also it provides not only a secret haven but a safe haven from mostly anything. In my opinion it is like going from no body armor to full body armor, no armor to armored personel carrier.
We aren't supose to know unless we have clearance what is going on down there, which means that form of security works. Why get paranoid with wonder , why not be glad our guys are doin it modern and underground. The only wish I had is that we had places cut out for us as well. Yea I know, its called a grave, and that isn't what Im talking about...
We move quietly under the ocean, under the ground, through space, how much cooler does it get?
