The Canadian military is reorganizing its priorities to suit a “post 9/11-world,” by creating reservist units for each area of the country that would be tasked with providing “domestic security,” and involve roles such as the mass internment of citizens in the event of a terrorist attack.

So this is quite an interesting piece of news here. I didn't think that Harper was doing such advance steps in keeping the 33 Million of us controlled.

Any thoughts fellow Canadians?

Wow ... now it's our turn !

This can be scary, I'll talk about this to my friends at Valcartier tomorrow ... not that they'll know anything of course.

This reminds me of a painful part of our history ... I'd be surprised they taught you about that in history class in the ROC*

en.wikipedia.org...

I know the October crisis wasn't the only time in history the Canadian Gov. used the military for domestic purpuses ... if I remember correctly there was big riots in Quebec during the 1917 conscription and the military killed 5 peoples I think.

Now, I like my military men to wear a blue helmet, or to help after icestorms and floods ... not with guns in my street.

Salute from Quebec City

*For you Non-Canadian, ROC means Rest of Canada ... except Quebec, where the majority of the people speaks french and are of French descent.

I don't mean to disparage the Canadian military's or police's abilities but if one doesn't have anything nice to say about something, then one shouldn't say it at all... So.

I wonder if their campy recruiting commercials are having any positive effect on the recruitment numbers.

They will have quite the task to accomplish, to say the least. They'd more likely outsource for foreign help in the task of pacifying Canada. Xe or Russian mercenary thugs, anyone?

Kind of makes me wonder if Canada being in Afghanistan is some kind of 'practice' for future domestic events.

Does the NWO still think they can win?

*Claps in front of the NWO's eyes*

Wake up NWO!

You aren't going to win!

To be quite honest, I'd feel safer seeing the Military patrol my streets, but that's just me. I guess I'm just one of those people that believes that if you've got nothing to hide and you aren't doing anything wrong, then there is no need to worry.
