AMERIKA...2009

The following is inspired by the famous poem by Martin Niemoller re: the Nazi regime in 1946...


In Amerika, they have trashed the economy, big business rules, jobs are lost daily and I didn't say anything because I was not affected.

Next they raised prices on necessities, GM'd our food supply, and controlled our medical care and I didn't say anything because I was not affected.

Then came gun control, infringement on religious freedoms, raised taxes...I said nothing as I still was not affected.

Now, martial law reigns...they came for me...but now, who was left to speak up?


History teaches us to learn from it...some people will never listen.
