Pfffft, our Canadian National (CN) tower is taller than Taipei.
Going to the top of the CN Tower is always an impressive experience.

... but yeah, Burj Dubai puts us all to shame.

... deep, saddening, depressing shame.

and i was very depressed as well

a japanese firm is designing a 5000' tall building



office space is $4000/ sq foot
aprtments at $3500/sq foot

the project is costing $4 billion.
and skilled workers are paid $7.60 A DAY

while laborers are paid

$4.00 A DAY

I'd need a break every 15 mins to change my shorts

I've been following that thing since before they started building it.
The designers of that building are pure genious if you go to the site and read the specs it seriously blows your mind.
All of Dubai is mind blowing to be honest.
