Well, you can't do anything about it tonight, so relax, and put your feet up!
Don't loose sleep over it until you know for sure.

Hopefully it is just some sort of error!

Do they perhaps have an automated 800# you can call to double check?

I am not financial adviser my friend but I suggest you go to your bank and find out what happen.

Unless your banks just fail and you hold more than 250,000 dollars in your account your money should be save.

Unless somebody else have your account number.

I've been trying to reach my CC company by phone and email and get no response. I have tried to use my CC 3 times in the last 48 hrs and it has been declined each time.

I'm feeling a bit uneasy.

When I call I just get the robot and none of my emails are answered.

I have never had any issues with declined CC...ever in the 20+ yrs of using them.

I hope I can access my debit balance otherwise TSHTF already and it too late.

Maybe this is the leading edge of the disaster in the financial market.

FROZEN ACCOUNTS

If you have online banking then you should be able to see where the money went no? I wonder why you would ask on an internet forum instead of just calling your bank?

They (if a CC tapped acct.) probably raised your minimum payment, lowered your limit, putting you over and attackhed an onver limit fee to boot, and ran your interest charges to 40% and charged you new fees that won't show up until your next statement.

Or Identity theft?

Anyone get hold of your #?

and then charged a penalty for early withdrawl?

I hope it is a clerical error. Good Luck

Yes, it's normal for banks to raid savings accounts.

The problem is that sometimes you don't get your money back, unless you know how to talk to them.

Citibank was always notorious for doing this.
