1 in 9 UK residents born abroad! What do you think?

Hi iv just read that 1 in 9 residents in the UK where born abroad! I find this quite worrying as that is 1 in 9 that they know about, never mind all the rest of them.

I think Mr Woolas who tried to stop the ONS (office of national statistics) making the public aware of the facts should be sacked for trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

What do you think? Do you think that our crowded country should "close the door" and start removing any foreign workers who are out of work, or anti social?

Or do you think we should welcome all foreigners with open arms and be grateful they want to contribute to our society?

I dont see anything wrong with this at all. I live in a different country from where i was born and may even one day live in the UK. It says a lot about a country that people want to live in it. But i guess its the fact that im white and an english speaker who works hard and spends adequetly that i wouldnt get the same publicity as the current situation.
