Critically-endangered Sumatran tigers kill six illegal loggers

AS SHARKS make their presence known in Sydney Harbour and its beaches, over in Indonesia, Sumatra's few remaining tigers are trying to send mankind a message.

The critically-endangered big cats killed six people this month. Most, it seems, were illegal loggers, plying their trade in protected national parks in Indonesia's Jambi province.

"This is a very interesting case,'' Didy Wurjanto, head of the Jambi's official nature conservancy agency, BKSDA, said.

"It's as if the tigers are sending a signal to Jambi's people that we have to be aware about using the forest's resources, we have to do it wisely and sustainably.

"If not, this is what will happen.

"Nature will become angry.''

Well at least the animals are starting to say enough is enough.

Their jungles are getting smaller every years I guess they have had enough of man destroying their last natural habitate and are making a last stand,

should be more of it to make people stand up and listen about what is been done to our planet in the name of greed.

Really cant fault them here.

Yes it could be called wild justice

Illegal logging is a money spinner - goes with out saying really. Bullets and shotgun shells are cheap. I can foresee a sad outcome here.
