ANP: Racist Political Organization Fashioned After The BNP

Hello Abovetopsecret. Long time lurker, first time poster. As some of you may already know, recently, in Britain, the BNP (British National Party) won a seat in a local election. This garnered some attention, because the BNP is a racist political party against immigration:

Well, very recently, it seems some folks are trying to get an ANP (American National Party) established, fashioned similar to that of the BNP. They have a website up, asking for donations, support, membership, etc. I looked over the site, and it seems like yet another hate-monger organization (like the BNP). Only time will tell if they take off. I have seen the website posted on some other political message boards, and so I wanted to bring this here for the conspiratorial-spin.

Do you think our government is indirectly supporting/causing organizations like this - on all sides, whether they be racial, or economic? The way our government is acting on the immigration issue, seems like they're feeding the fire - and with Obama getting elected (I voted for Obama BTW) and all - the elite in the media openly favoring/showing bias towards Obama, etc.

Okay, so my question is, do the elite WANT civil unrest? Do they want civil war and animosity between races?

I'm thinking along with the economic turbulence - racial hatred is indirectly (or directly by the shadow government) encouraged so they can bring martial law.

Here is the website: www.americannationalparty.com...

It's likely that all Governments indirectly support these organizations. This doesn't mean in a financial or covert sense. It's the politics of the Government that largely defines the conditions that the population live in. When there are areas of society that are dissatisfied for long enough, these extreme political parties and groups appear. I see them like an infected wound. If the wound wasn't there the infection couldn''t survive.

The popularity of the BNP in some areas is down to respectable working class people feeling ignored by current New Labor politics. They've been hit by the 10p tax, rising fuel and cost of living. They want more jobs, lower taxes, cleaner and safer neighborhoods, more Police and less bureaucracy. All that sounds pretty good? It's everything that New Labor isn't giving them.

The BNP glosses over the racism. Three years ago they even had a Sikh in a Party Political Broadcast supporting them
They are all smiles and sympathy in public. They make an attractive option.

Every time we see footage of the inner workings or bar promotions they are seen in all their honesty. Drunk and screaming racist rhetoric about kicking out non-whites. The sharp edge of racial politics is full of s*it human beings.

The US Party will use all the same practises and appeal to dissatisfied people. A black President is pretty useful to focus the hatred on, but they'll rarely be caught out in public. White areas of Boston, Detroit and anywhere else losing manufacturing/ industry jobs is where they'll start.

It's a Democracy (supposedly!?) and they have a right to their politics. On the bright side, most people are middle of the road politically. Hardly anyone lives on the extreme edge of left wing right wing politics. For this reason, these parties never seem to rise into anything amounting to much. 1930s Germany will crop up, but that situation was utterly unlike the economic decline we're facing now.

A few thoughts on why racism and immigration isn't quite the same issue in America as it in England.

Immigration is a genuine concern to many on both sides of the Atlantic and, given the state of the economic climate, it's becoming an even bigger issue. However, the view of immigration in Britain is also tied to our relationship to the EU and the 'freedom of movement' across the EU countries. There's added resentment because there's very little that Britain can do to alter this. America doesn't really have that kind of relationship with other countries where their immigration policies are being partly devised and decided by other countries. In fact, if any thing, America has a reputation for it being difficult to get into even if your from a country that's supposed to be on 'good terms' with America!

Regarding illegal immigration to America, the vast majority of it appears to be through the Mexican border. Whereas in Britain, ostensibly a collection of islands with no land borders as such, illegal immigrants will have to journey through several European countries to get to Britain. Both these issues can contribute to an ill-feeling and a problem that America doesn't have to contend with, or at least the latter on very different scale.

Another significant factor that might be lost on many Americans as to why immigration is a different issue over here can be best illustrated with a couple of numbers. England (not Britain, just England) has 1/6th of America's population. However, that 1/6th of the American population is also distributed in a land area 1/75th of the size of the U.S. The idea of being 'swamped' or 'over-run' perhaps has an extra connotation or dimension on this side of the Atlantic than it does over there.

The BNP is not a racist organisation!
That there are some supporters of the BNP who are racist I have no doubt but the party itself does not advocate racial hatred and superiority.
The BNP does advocate that the interests of British people should take precedence over foreigners and that we should not be ashamed of, rather we should be proud of, British culture and heritage.

I personally I am no way supportive of all BNP policies, indeed I find some of them naive and some inherently incorrect and somewhat odious, however, they are striking a chord with lots of British people at present due to the activities of the PC brigade and those that would have us be ashamed of ourselves in addition to the apparent dilution of British society.

I, along with countless others, intend to vote BNP at all upcoming elections.
Not because we want them to form a government but rather as a protest vote aimed at waking the major parties up.
We want to be listened to on subjects like immigration, British jobs for British workers, activities of Muslim extremists and political correctness in general.
The major political parties are wllfully ignoring the views and opinions of the British people in these areas.

Party politics have failed the British people and is dominated by carear politicians whose aims appear to be personal advancement and the imposition of draconian and restrictive laws.
We have allowed politicians turn the government process around; MP's are supposed to represent the wishes and well being of their constituents, unfortunately our elected politicians now believe they have a right to dictate their wishes upon us.

The British National Party.

Good post. Thanks for the in-depth explanation. I would agree that immigration is different in the UK because of the small real estate, and whilst we here in America don't quite have the problem the UK faces, I think we are on our way i.e the government having open border policies, crapping on the constitution etc.

Racism is not the way, and most immigrants just want to come here and work, but the way our government goes about the open border policy, just CREATES racist organizations such as the new "ANP". And it will only get worse in the future if something is not done.

Successive UK governments are definitely responsible for the popularity of the BNP - by their complete refusal to address the sincere concerns of the British people. Hence why I always tell Labour supporters that if the BNP were to gain any kind of power, they can blame their own party.

I wouldn't say the BNP are 'racist', but rather 'racialist', if such a distinction can be made. Racism is the belief that one race is inherently superior or inferior to others. Racialism is merely the recognition of different needs, homelands and cultures for different races. I am a racialist. I do not adhere to political correctness by accepting all lands as the homelands of all people. I am not racist because I enjoy people of all races and see equal worth in every one.
