Home buyers in Jan-march 2008 Loose again

Sorry, I just have to rant. We were left out of the home buyers credit, because we missed it by six weeks. Had to purchase after April 2nd, 2008. My home has lost half of its value. Now the new proposal to have your mortgage redone to current value is only for people who bought BEFORE
Jan 1st. So those of us who bought during those three months loose both ways.
God it just gets my goat.
