Look at the awkward exchange here during this talk about GE stock and global warming....WTF!!!!!!!!

They said that people were moving to New Zealand to move away from the coming....then the guy looked all outta breath and then the other guy commented on how he had weird hair to awkwardly change the subject... ...did anyone else see it live???

This is taken out of context. He said they were talking about it before. I think you're reading into this very short clip too much.

Couldn't get that video to play - has something to do with the fact I'm out of the country. Although Australia isn't untouched by all this, we did go into this disaster with a $20billion surplus, as opposed to hundreds of billions of $$$s in debt like the US.

Unfortunately, we've undertaken our own 'bailout' ($42 billion) and now we're $22+billion in debt. Still I feel a little better around here.

Boy talk about reading something into nothing...bit of advise, turn off the tv and go outside and get some fresh air and exercise....

It is conspiracy theorist's cool little acronym for when all the "doom" starts. In this particular thread, TSWHF stands for "The Sh*t Will Hit the Fan."

This is a very real indication that we can expect something very big, and for some reason NZ is considered safest.

I am with you on this one OP. I was very clear to me. He knew he couldn't come out and say it so he was making something of an analogy to get his point across.

To the debunkers and crybabies I watched it live and NO they were not talking about anything else prior to this other than to announce that GE stock was basically in the toilet. Why change the subject? Why did the guy mention that the producers were telling them to stop.

What the hell use your brain and get some air to it because apparently yours is lacking the well needed oxygen to rationalize.

GE and NBC are the same company. Why would they not protect their stock? Mentioning their own stock is tanking will make it drop more. It's bad business to want your stock to tank. It may be a news agency, but it's a business first.

Do you get this freaked out everytime a person on tv says something bad is going to happen (or in this case, *possibly* hints)?

I watch this channel; all the time, they are just interjecting their own ideas about what the markets are really headed for. The other day the same channel tried to put a positive spin on 5,000 jobs up for grabs at Six Flags!
