So is this a case of CYA or the honest conviction of a man serving a life-sentence? In either case, this is somewhat good news considering the implications of a senior AQ member (founder) denouncing the current leadership. The current leaders have tarnished the image of all peaceful Muslims and maybe he has finally realized that AQ only serves to degrade the image of the Muslim community further.

I looked to see if this had been posted before - sry if it has. The article was dated 2/20.
