Is anyone else having this issue/problem?

I was able to login earlier in the day.

As indicated in the message, a handful of members noticed no staff in chat, and took the opportunity to have their petty little stoner conversation.

Because of them, chat is unavailable for the foreseeable future.

Ahhh I so loved ATS Chat ) I remember Skeptic O looking our shoulders wonderin what the hell we were doing) And I really doute anyone there would remember me now but I shall return with my six pack and my anticipation of a very enjoyable evening as soon as i get my 150 posts.

I have never used chat, been tempted several times, but wouldn't know where to start, rumour has it they shoot lurkers, see my dilema? what if I have no clue what the discussions are about etc.

Anyhow, I think closing the chat room is very unfair on the members who use it for socialising and having a great talk live with this sites magnificent membership, because of the few, everyone has to suffer, I don't see how that instils respect from the members on this site.

Once again the bad guys win, and the innocent have to live with more rules, isn't that what ATS is here for people to vent about? and now it is here also, if you want the membership to deal with the trouble makers, then fine I'm all for that, at least tell us who we have to thank for the closure? perhaps a naming and shaming policy should be included, then members who wish to can use the ignore button so they never bother their way of doing things on this site.

That closing the chat room is not a popular decision, and that the majority feel they are being punished for something most of us had no clue about until I received a U2U, I seriously didn't know this was happening, and I bet either did many many others? so why punish the innocent again?

Ban the offenders and move forward, don't let them win, they are probably sitting their off their heads under a new ID having a good laugh.

Don't let them win by punishing the people who every day prove their loyalty to this site, a site I may add that your patronage time and again come here to stand and fight against in the real World.
