Sorry for my negative comment, yesterday. I believe you, actually. All these camera artifacts are not visible with the naked eye. What you saw was
something else, and the problem is, with flash on, it's impossible to tell whether the biggest of the two objects is a rain drop two inches from the
camera or something else. To me it looks pretty much the same as some of the pictures in the link I posted. It would be surprising that you did not
catch at least one of the droplets near the camera, seeing how many more are visible when the contrast is increased.
The other object is sharply defined and very bright, clearly not out of focus. The wide angle makes it appears even smaller. I think no one can
analyze it any further, it's definitely a bummer. It is too small to get more information.
